Calling me ignorant may make you feel better, but it doesnt change the fact that Michigan lost again today. By the way, how many games has Toledo won, since beatting Michigan?
I know it's not Rich Rod's fault. Nothing ever is. He blamed the Pittsburgh debacle on his team last year and im sure he's blaming the kids even today.
Yes Michigan's future is looking bright. If you call playing in the Motor City Bowl next year "bright."

Maybe RichRod could renew his rivalry with Marshall.
That matchup might be worse than watching paint dry.

I am calling what you add in this thread ignorant. Find me a quote where he blames his kids. I garuntee you I can find you 5 more that say the opposite. We lost, yes we did, but so did you. Not to mention Michigan put more on PSU than OSU did. Let's not forget that it took OSU untill the final minutes to beat big bad Ohio U.

I say you have no knowledge of what you are saying because you have made statements that were false already.

Then he loses to Penn State. Something no other Michigan coach had done.

WRONG!

"we put up more points on PSU than you." LOL

PSU had soccer players in at the end of the Michigan game. What did they hang on you guys about half a hundred?

McGuffie took a shot to the head and they held him out the rest of the game. He will be fine.

85,

It was also 17-14 Michigan at the half. We aren't good right now, but having people like yourself come over here and point things like that out means nothing. Congrats you have had some huge wins yourself, you have beat some real monsters this season.

For a Michigan fan to be running his chops about quality wins holds about as much water as Boy George calling someone Queer.

Just because someone disagrees with you,you call them ignorant?

Yes I do think his comments are ignorant. He said no coach at Michgian has lost ot PSU. That is ignorant. He said that Carr always coached Michgian teams in January bowls, that is wrong, so in my eyes yes that is ignorant. He said RRod blames his palyers, I read every single presser and post game report and I have yet to see him do any of what he is saying.

I really respect OSU posters who have respect for their rival just as I do for OSU. People who come over and just blurt out things that they can't back up and have no facts to back up their opinion upset me a little. It is a tough year for UM fans. Do I need someone coming on a thread where an OSU poster has been nothing but respectful, and than him/her start blurting out things that are for the most part wrong, than yes I have a problem with that.

Yes, Michigan is a bad team, but OSU's most quality win is over unranked MSU and unranked Wisconsin. I can be a fan of anyone and point that out.

did you read the "pressers' after last years Pitt game? He doesnt have to run the kids down at michigan, he gets a free pass this year. How do i know he gets a free pass? They lost to Toledo. Maybe in 4 years, when he gets all of his magical players around him, we can start holding him liable.

Ok, whatever. I hold your opinion about as high as I hold a cheeseburgers. It is what it is. If he has not made this team better by year2, than we'll talk.

Then tell me why your Mom isn't coaching Division 1-A football (FBS whatever you wanna call it now). RR is doing a good job coaching this year for what he has, he's kept his team close in every ball game.

Congratulations goes out to the Genius known as Rich Rodriguez. He beat a hapless Wisconsin team and squeaked by powerhouse Miami of Ohio.
He kept his Wolverines within 3 TD's of Notre Dame, within 4 TD's of Illinois and PennState and only lost by 2 TD's to cross state foe Michigan State. A feat not even Lloyd Carr could do for the past 6 years, as he had defeated the Spartans for 2/3 of a decade without losing.
Now I especially give RR kudo's for keeping the Utah game close at home and heaven's sake, he almost pulled the huge upset of traditional powerhouse Toledo.

You guys are right. This guy is dynamite. If you like him now, you'll love him at 3-9.

I do find it very hard to believe that after looking at Lloyd Carr's season by season record while at Michigan, that he would have actually been 2-6 to start this season. He never even sniffed such a record while the coach, and what a coincidence that is just happens to be occurring now.

It seems even more odd considering the 8-4 or better predictions by the Michigan fans on this board before the season. The talent was there before the season apparently.

"Michigan will not be rebuilding either, they have won 8 games this season, they don't need rebuilt. A new scheme will be implimented sure, but this is Michigan!"

A direct quote from Peake. Now he just told me only two kids left. So why are we so happy about 2-6?

I am not happy, but I am not throwing the coach under the bus. Lloyd Carr never coached a team like this, never. He had NFL talent around him every single season. Not that RRod doesn't, but it is all very very very young. Lloyd Carr has had at least two seniors on the OLine his entier career (saw that in the Free Press a few weeks back).

It is what it is. I was wrong, so be it. These are I-formation, drop back and play action pass type of players, not spread guys. I mean that in terms of QB's and OLine. Last season ND was bad not because of their skills guys, but because they couldn't stop anyone and their line was God awful. Same thing this season. Yes they have talent, but I had no idea the OLine would be this bad.

Look at what Zook did with Illinois from year one to two. I honestly believe you will see that next season.

What do you all really want me to say? Do you want me to say, all my goosh, terriable hire, what where they thinking? We will find out what type of coach he is next season. If he doesn't win at least 7-8 with the talent he will have, than I expect some changes.

Oh my did I see the purest Ballparent post on a Michigan thread?

Ever listen to the same song for about the 7th time in a one hour period. Know how annoying that is? That is what it feels like everytime I click on this thread. I have heard 85 say the exact same thing over and over again, and half the time you just word it a different way. You have a personal hatered of RRod, good for you, I get it.

I felt more diappointed last season when a team that was supposed to compete for a National Title lost to a 1-aa and lost 3 more a long the way. Michigan was as talented, if not more than every single team they played. There was NFL talent sprinkled all over the place, and Michigan was just an above average team. That in my mind is disappointment. Michigan has been loaded several times only to see them lose games they shouldn't. That is disappointment.

How about this season OSU fans? You were supposed to compete/win a National Title, disappointed? You have NFL talent all over the place, disappointed? This team returns what should have been the best defense in the country, disappointed? It took you untill the final minutes to beat a very bad Ohio University team, disappointed? Having USC drop 35 on you, disappointed? Claiming Wisconsin as a huge win, disappointed?

There are lots of things to be disappointed about if you're a Michigan fan, but this is not a team that has a ton of NFL ready talent. The Lloyd Carr analogy is not on point. He took over a program that had players like Mercury Hayes, Tim Biakabatuka, Charles Woodson, Tia Streets, Bryan Greese, Steve Hutchinson, Sam Sword. Now please compare.

that thing you keep hearing over and over is the truth. Youre just now getting it. I am glad to finally hear you admit it though. We can finally move on. Now, don't you feel much better?

I was wrong on how good I thought they would be, other than that I wasn't on anything else. You didn't tell me anything I already didn't know. Well, you really didn't say one educated thing. You don't know one person who is in the know at Michigan so you are speculating. You were wrong with your analogies, you were wrong with some of your history. You just one of those people who enjoy hearing themselves talk and thinking they are correct.

Truth??? Ok, sure, whatever you say.

Like I said, coming on here to see you say the same thing over and over and make no sense, only makes it annoying for everyone else.

The entire time you have been talking like Michigan was supposed to compete for a National Title. Of all the people who need to go back and analyse disappointment, it is OSU.
