Re: Heisman
i like shawn greene hes a solid back more solid then the other two top big ten rushers
Sam Bradford lost to texas
Colt lost to Tech
Harrell lost to Oklahoma
all three had soild games until the loss and the loss harrell took he still had a soild game
Crabtree dosent have the yards that other WRs have i like my stats and he dosent have the ones a like a heisman to have.
and my out of the blue pick would be
Brian Johnson Utah QB

Re: Heisman
I think Colt McCoy made a pretty good case for winning it tonight,Impressive performance!

Re: Heisman
It is impressive for Beanie Wells to still get 1,000+ yards in a season when he missed 3 games...his total would have been a good bit higher had he not missed those games.

Re: Heisman
Not only did he miss three games, but he also
had limited playing time and touches in
the majority of games he played in.
Had he been healthy, 1,600+ rushing yards
would have been a very reachable feat.

looking back on it Colt McCoy did not have a bad game in the loss Harrell did and Bradford could have done better
so
McCoy
Brian Johnso
Shawn Greene
oh where oh where did that Chase Daniels go to?
Re: Heisman
Chase Daniel is the victim of a horrible Missouri defense thats where he went! They cant stop a youth league team!

Re: Heisman
If I had a ballot...it would be...
1. Bradford-OU
2. Tebow-Florida
2 (tie). McCoy-Texas
4. Harrell-Tech
Since the fifth place spot is so up in arms, Ill roll with the bias.
5. Harvin-Florida
The fifth place spot could also go to Crabtree (Tech), Johnson (Utah), Ringer (Mich State), or even Maclin (Mizzou).
I dont see any other players having a chance at making it to NYC. However, if Tebow accounts for 3-4 TDs on Saturday against Bama, and Bradford doesnt account for 4-5, its Tebow IMO.

I agree FT45, Tebow is in a position that he can win it if Bradford plays pedestrian like on Saturday against a miserable defense in Missouri.

Re: Heisman
here's mine:
1. McCoy
2. Bradford
t3. Tebow
t3. Harrell
5. Crabtree
i've always thought McCoy deserved it over the rest due to the fact that his combination of passing and running abilities are better than any of the other 3 QBs in the race but i was watching ESPN this morning and one analyst mad a great point; McCoy has put up the numbers he has and gotten his team where it is with less to work with than the other QBs on this list. Bradford has Iglasias and Gresham to throw to, Tebow has a freak athlete in Harvin and Harrell has fellow Heisman candidate Michael Crabtree. don't get me wrong, Texas has some good receivers but nobody close to the caliber of Harvin, Crabtree or Iglasias. Bradford is a better passer, Tebow is a better runner but McCoy is the better all around play maker.

doubtful. Tebow has more around him this year than last year leading to him just plain not putting up the numbers he did last year. with only 2 games left he's got nearly 1000 yards less passing and almost 400 yards less rushing, 25 TD passes to 32 last year and only 12 rushing TDs compared to 23 last year. this Heisman race is all but come down to McCoy/Bradford, and rightly so. The other 3 QBs in this race are in the top 10 in passing yards but you have to drop all the way to 54th to find Tebow (Boo Jackson is 50th

). Bradford and McCoy both have a lot more passing TDs, a better rating and McCoy has more rushing TDs than Tebow. Don't get me wrong, Tebow is a great player and leader. Joe Schmo doesn't win a Heisman his sophomore year, but he's just not putting up the numbers to keep up with the other names on the list.
Well put it this way, mark it down CMo said so... If Missouri beats Oklahoma by more than 10 points and Bradford throws 2 or more interceptions and Florida beats Bama by 10 or more and he has a 4 or 5 TD game then Tebow will be the Heisman winner again. You heard it here first then Brutus. Otherwise, if Oklahoma wins there game then Bradford wins! Bradford and McCoy are both great qb's but that is what it's going to come down to me anyway. Agree or disagree but that's my opinion.
Re: Heisman
graham harrell definately will win heisman with the numbers he puts up every year at tech.

glad to see you're so confident in your orange and blue colored sunglasses. i'll tell you what it comes down to, plain and simple, the voters are not going to choose Tebow to be only the second player to win the Heisman twice with these numbers that are mediocre when compared to the QBs he's up against and after last year when they all saw what he can really do when he really had to carry his team.
