Three of your five were Ohio born and raised (Tressel, Stoops, and Meyer). Also, Meyer, Tressel, Carroll, and Saban all spent time on the Ohio State staff.


Good pick-up Orestes. I was hoping someone would bring that fact up. It is truly amazing that Ohio State can bring up such great coaches whether it be as a graduate assistant, TE or WR coach, etc. and then for these coaches to go on to be so dominant at the head coaching level. Another big name to be born in the Buckeye state in the coaching world is Les Miles ; however, he was an assistant to Bo Schembechler and Gary Moeller i believe at tSON :122248
