i see the buckeyes doing very well the next couple weeks, and getting valuable experience under their belts for bouts with penn state and michigan.

The PSU score was not because they were overlooking Illinois, it's because the PSU D is good, and the PSU O is horrible!

Yes, Posey is still practicing. Taking reps with 1st team to stay in rhythm with Braxton, and taking reps with scout team. Have you wondered why Bradley Robey is getting so good? Try guarding Posey everyday in practice!

Posey will be used, and implemented immediately upon arrival against PSU.

Thanks Dubs, sounds good.Is Bryant saving his picks for the last games.I thought he had one and was going to the house and it ended up Wisky TD.He must take his eyes off the ball at the last second or something.

Hoosiers have a bad defense, and the Buckeyes defense is solid........should result in an easy OSU win...........hopefully Braxton Miller will continue to grow as our QB.......he is looking better with each week.

Hopefully we see an excellent outing for Miller. Maybe break 175 yards and 2 Td's passing and 100 yards and a TD Running?

That would be great! He is improving at a rapid rate every game. Hopefully he can take advantage of this game vs Indiana and further develop as a passer. We know he can run, but he can use this to get better throwing the ball and make OSU more balanced on offense before taking on Purdue, Penn St and TSUN!

OSU spent 39% of plays vs Wisconsin in the Pistol.
Miller is more comfortable when he's not directly under center, but the run game is better with I formation principles, and Boom moving before the handoff.

The Pistol allows for both, look for more of this formation moving forward.

This is the first time in over 20 years that a game in November in The Shoe, featured two unranked teams!

I am not sold on the Pistol formation. Sure we broke a few good runs vs Wisky, but the running plays are slow to develop, especially for a back like Boom Herron.

They're a lot faster developing than out of shotgun.
They spent over a 1/3 in the Pistol, and it worked out pretty well, 260+ rushing yards.
It allows for Zack Boren to stay on the field too.

Plus, it helps Miller. He's not confident in what he's seeing under center, he does better from the gun, but Boom needs to be moving when he gets the hand off.

Given these circumstances, the Pistol is a great option for this offense.

I agree a pistol would be good to take to Bollman. LOL

Well Braxton's passes have looked better. By better I mean actually spirals instead of those ducks we've seen in the past. His accuracy still needs a good deal of improvement

Sure would, but might be too quick, he might as well suffer, just like we have watching his play calling!!!!
