My Final Four & a little bracktology


Ohio State - A little bias but imo, Kansas isn't as good as advertised. Don't look for any major upsets here in the 1st round. Dark Horse, Michigan State. Ohio State over Michigan State in the Elite 8.

Syracuse - The weakest 1 seed imo, Butler will pressure them seriously in the Sweet 16. Dark Horse, Xavier. Syracuse over K. State in the Elite 8.

Kentucky - IMO, this is the weakest region, not Dukes. Wisconsin could give them some trouble, though the Badgers are no where near as good away as they are home. I like Cornell over Temple. Dark Horse, New Mexico. Wildcats over Mountaineers in the Elite 8.

Duke - 2nd weakest region. Siena has a good chance of knocking Purdue out early. Nova has the only chance of knocking Duke out in this region. Everyone is loving on Baylor but they haven't won a tourney game in 50+ years. With that said, I think this is their year, at least to get the S16. Dark Horse, Purdue. Duke over 'Nova in the Elite 8.

My Final Four
Kansas-One thing you need to win the entier thing, upper classmen, another is NBA Talent. Check and Check.
Kansas State- Syracuse is a very good team, but the way KSU has played in big games makes me think KSU.
WVU-I think UK is the most talented team in the tournament, but at some point the youth will get them. I could be wrong with this pick but I'll go WVU.
Duke- They are better then most think. They got embarrassed by Gtown and all of sudden people think they are not very good. Gtown lost to freakin Rutgers than should have won the Big East. Duke has upper classmen, leadership, and NBA level talent (just not as much as Kansas or UK). The Plumlees are playing well and Z will get you a solid 8 and 8, if Singler is on then it is going to be difficult for anyone to beat them.

Peake, while i respect your opinion I just want to point out a whole in your logic regarding Syracuse Kan State. Syracuse has played the best in their big games (minus the Gtown loss) w/ 20 point shalacking of UNC, Cal (who were ranked in top 10 at the time even though they didnt turn out that good) wins @ Gtown @WVU that beautiful performance against Nova. Syracuse has played far better in big games than KState.

I'm not arguing your pick, I just pointing out a hole in the logic you used to make the pick.

No I agree with you, I just think KSU will win that game. KSU reminds me of a better Louisville. I am having a difficult time picking Syracuse because of the way they finished (0-2).

does kstate shoot from perimeter as well as louisville? i thought they were more along the lines of wvu. average at best shooting but strong rebounding... maybe i am wrong
