They're almost directly diagonal to my seat for three games this year.
They are C deck, on the south goal line.
It's like watching from the Blimp.
Agree, unless you are in the lower to mid bowl..don't waste your time..
One time I took my wife to her first OSU game (I don't like to admit that) but we sat upstairs in the clouds..wow..so dissapointing..I was appologizing to her after the game that I would never do that to her again! Watch it on TV..you have re-play, couch, soda, food, and a half-time nap...

I'll have to disagree! I sat in B-deck once which is underneath C-deck and behind A-deck. I sat in the very last row and I can honestly say they were the absolute worst seats I've ever had at any sporting event and I've been to my fair share of them. I've also sat in C-deck several times and I was pleased everytime with the views.
JK this game by however much OSU wants it to be, being a Marshall fan as well I just looking to see how this Herd team plays. I want to see Marshall play really physical on both sides of the ball, something that has been missing the past couple years.
i am going to the game and am a marshall fan and i am sitting on the "osu" home side, how will the buckeyefans act with class or messing with me just askin

#1 there is no "Buckeye" side, you'll be surrounded by Buckeye fans all game long, no matter where you are.
#2 It depends on where your seats are at, on how you'll be treated.
#3 It depends on how you act yourself. You'll find that Buckeye fans have great respect for people if they don't act like morons in "our house"
My biggest tip, go to the game, have fun, don't worry about the Buckeye fans. If they are givin g you a little bit of a hard time, instead of getting offended, talk to them. Let them know that you're here to support Marshall, (if your also a Buckeye fan tell them that too.) If you're not, tell them that anyway.
I'm at work right now, but I'll post later some very valuable tips for Marshall fans to follow that will insure they have a great time.
Starting #1 Corner, Chimdi Checkwa is questionable for the Buckeyes on Thursday.
Also, starting Defensive End, Nathan Williams is out due to his knee issue.
Some tips for Marshall fans that are making the trip:
1) St Rt 315 northbound is still having construction. It's still your best option to get to the stadium.
2) Don't think about parking on high street or somewhere near campus that isn't gameday parking.
---Do yourself a favor, and park in the west campus parking or the Akerman parking (north of the Schott)
---If you have a handicap pass, get here early and park in the St. John's arena lot.
---For west campus gameday parking, get off St Rt 315 at Lane Ave, turn left on Lane, turn left on Kenney, follow signs to parking.
---For Akerman (schott) take 315 to the Akerman Rd. exit (the one after Lane) turn right on Akerman, follow the signs.
---There is a free bus shuttle to and from the stadium from the west campus area, you'll have to walk a little while from the North area.
---Also, they usually run a shuttle from the State Fair grounds. Park here if you don't mind a long wait for the shuttle on the return trip.
-----A benefit of this area though, is you avaoid the 315 construction traffic on your way up.
3) Get Here Early!!!
---The Game starts at 7:30. Be in your seat in the stadium no later than 6:50.
---This is Alumni Band Day. Meaning there will be roughly 800 current and former members of The Best darn Band In The Land,
-----making their trip down the ramp and doing a Quad Script Ohio during Pregame. This will start between 7:00 and 7:10.
---Pregame festivities outside the stadium will be on the lawn between St. John's and The Shoe.
---Hineygate is No More, but The Tailgate at The Riverwalk is pretty cool. Live Music before and after the game, plenty of "refreshments"
---This should start around 4:30, but won't get too crazy till about 5:30.
---If your planning on taking in any of these events, give yourself an extra 1/2 hour of time before you want to be there, due to parking and walking.
4) Skull Session
---If you've never been there...GO!
---If you've been there...Go AGAIN!
---Again, it's Alumni Band day. The Alumni band will be at Skull Session. 800 TBDBITL members can't be wrong.
---It starts 2 hours before kickoff, so 5:30.
---Be there and in you seats no later than 5:00, but preferably by 4:30. Yes, I know it's early, but the good seats will be gone if you get there at the start.
---It's in St. John's Arena, and you should enter in via the south entrance.
---It will last about 45 minutes to an hour, so you'll have 30-45 minutes to get to your seats in The Shoe before the Band hits the Ramp.
5) The "Buckeye Fans are Mean" Reputation
---There are bad apples in every group. There will be more people around the stadium on gameday than there are residents of
Cabell, Boyd, and Lawrence counties COMBINED! Think of the number of buttholes in those counties and now make all of them huge fans of the same team, that oh by the way, Isn't Your Team.
---You can make sure that you have a good time by following a few simple suggestions.
-----1) Follow the parking guidelines I stated earlier, and try and find other Marshall fans to walk to the stadium with.
-----2) Instead of yelling back, Ignore the Idiots they go away.
-----3) If your in an area that you are staying in for awhile, engage surrounding Buckeye fans in an actual conversation.
We are people too, and love to talk football. You'll find that if you start a conversation with "so how are you guys looking this year",
or "Tressel should have you guys in the title game again", that Buckeye fans will talk and you'll get along great.
-----4) Don't march your happy butts down High St. chanting "We Are Marshall" in front of the drunk Gorillas. If you do, you asked for it!
-----5) When all else fails, yell "MICHIGAN SUCKS". It's a winner throughout the year.
6) When you get to your stadium seats, talk to the strangers around you.
---The people surrounding you are likely Buckeye fans, there to see their Buckeyes play. Don't ignore them, have a civil discussion during pregame.
when you're waiting for the band to come in, engage the surrounding Buckeyes with banter about college football, and this years expectations.
You'll find that they are talkative, and may actually let you talk about Marshall too. MAYBE!
7) Have a Great Time
---Don't come in expecting to get treated like crap.
---That's mostly myth, that we make fact on teams that "actually matter". Not that Marshall doesn't, I hope you understand what I mean.
You're not Wisconsin, Miami, Michigan, or Penn St. so you'll be fine.
I hope OSU is better that 2004; Marshall almost got 'em that day! As for how Marshall fans will be treated, they will be pitied more than hated. OSU by 30! Unless Tress calls off the dogs.
