This is classic.....a WVU fan on here laughing about a comment made by a Michigan supporter! Is it me or didn't both WVU and UM get smacked in the mouth by someone this weekend?

Got smacked hard. Can't and won't deny it..... unlike the OSU fans with their scarlet and gray blinders who try and defend their strength of schedule.... or lack of strength. ;-)
I would never argue about someone's opinion (or stating a fact) about OSU's SOS. Hell, I would have to agree with them! However, I would find it amusing if the team that person supported had a weaker SOS than the school he is trying to bash. I don't even want to discuss the results of the two teams either, that would be a whole different topic. (I was always taught "People that live in glass houses, don't throw stones".)

but we are talking about the almighty Buckeyes here now. You know, THE ohio state university.
It is sometimes hard to tell whether they play in big10 or Mid American Conference.

 LOL, Raiderball....you are really stuck on The Ohio State Buckeyes! I guess if I was a fan of Worst Virginia, I would have to find another team to follow as well. I have to give you credit though...you are very persistent.

Would it make you happier if OSU scheduled a dangerous and challenging schedule that included powerhouse programs such as Coastal Carolina, Marshal or UNLV? :122246

I don't defend WVU's strength of schedule although I will say we do play a couple games with teams from BCS conferences most years. I wish we would drop the game with teams from the FCS. I get tired of hearing OSU fans cry about a lack of respect and dropping in polls when they lose a game.
Why does OSU drop out of Championship game talk after they lose a game??? Could it be due to their weak non conference schedule? Seriously, what did beating E Michigan do for you? Try scheduling another game against a BCS conference team.

Hoggy...OSU'S schedule this year includes Marshall,Ohio,Eastern Michigan..and such traditional Big Ten powers such as Minnesota,Indiana,Purdue, and Illinois  ..right or wrong?..So maybe you dont want to go there...The combined records of those 7 schools is a robust 25-40....

I never went there nor do I attempt to bash other schools with similar or worse schedules than OSU. I was responding to a WVU fan that wanted to discuss OSU's schedule and constantly complain about the Buckeyes. I guess I should be happy that OSU has only lost one game thus far and hasn't choked against some of the weaker conference schools. I do believe that there are some schools out there that have 3 or more losses right now and will probably be on the short end of the stick on a few more occasions.

Who should we discuss.....? Michigan, West Virginia or Notre Dame? There are several fans of these schools that spend more time talking about OSU than their own team. Do you honestly expect true Buckeye fans to join in the bashing or something? LOL

OSU chokes yearly against weaker conference schools....And a lot of times where a lot of people see it..and blame it on Bollman  ....there are a couple of or three SEC schools with 2 to 3 losses would be more than capable of giving the Bucks their 2nd one this weekend if they played...You can bet your booty on that one...

True...but we also have a National Championship within the last ten years, multiple conference titles and played in a fair share of BCS bowl games as well. I realize some of the fan base is not happy with these results, but I am proud of the Buckeyes. If I ever start to feel upset or concerned about OSU's football program, I just look at WVU, Michigan and Notre Dame. Then I realize that OSU is doing better than all of those schools year in and year out. I realize that I am capable of actually discussing the success of OSU and I don't have to stoop to bashing other schools in order to have something to talk about.

Hoggy, where is your sense of humor bud? This thread took a turn because I posted funny faces in response to a post by MD. Then you come back at me about WVU schedule. The difference between you (and most other OSU fans on here) and me is that I am not blinded. Let's face it, a very high % of FCS, FBS (whatever TF it is) teams play soft schedules. My team and your team included.

Hard to believe that OSU won that championship...I was at Paul Brown that fall when UC dropped not 1,but 2,game-winning TD balls in the last minute...both in the endzone  ..wide-open..There were other games...Jenkin's catch and score against against ?..Purdue?...there were others..Of course the Maurice hype got into full force that year...Maybe the Vest is on the right-hand side of the Man?....No...I saw them play Wisconsin a few weeks ago.

I think and quote me if I'm wrong, a win is a win. Oh yeah, I forgot who they beat in the title game that year... Hmmm, some experts (I use that term loosely) said they were the best college football team to ever to take the field. Ken Dorsey's career record was a measly 38-2. But, of course the refs GAVE them the game. Stop drinking the kool-aid man, it's getting pretty sad.
