Sorry Buckeye fans to post on your thread about Michigan, but that great Wisconsin defense that just gave up 34 to MSU in a LOSS? We will see this weekend against a defense that is much better then Wisconsins. How about the Iowa defense he ran all over last year? We shall see but to say the kid is not for real is hilarious.

Anyways, I think the Dline will give Indiana enough truble that they will get much more pressure on Chappel. Indiana is as soft as tissue paper against the run. I say OSU will run it, mix in some play action, and win in a conservative game.

OSU 35
Indiana 17
I'm not saying the kid's not good (he's legit), but I'm saying we need to slow down before we call him a Heisman contender. He has played against an extremely weak schedule with some cupcakes and a FCS team that they almost lost against. He and his team will finally play against a team that is noteworthy this Saturday. The best team they've played to this point is ND, they are a little better this year, but still not a prominent team. Until he can put up the numbers against the good teams, I'm not willing to call him a contender yet.

I'm not bashing him in anyway, he's a very good athlete, I'm just saying he will finally be put to the test on Saturday. We will all see if he really is a Heisman contender or not.

I think Robinson is a solid Heisman contender, and if he continues to play well he will be in New York for the ceremony.
It's his defense that will determine if he wins it or not.
If they play well enough to get UM to 9 wins then they will be 9-2 going into the Buckeyes game.
If that's the case I think he is a strong contender.
If UM goes 7-5, then he'll get the invite and the buffet, but not the trophy.

This is all considering he stays healthy. He is a freshman, he will take big hits as a running QB when he starts play solid defenses.

I look for him to slow way down on his stats over the next 4-5 weeks. He has all the confidence in the world right now, lets see what happens once defenses start shutting his running ability down.

He's a sophmore.

TP has either thrown or ran 177 times for 1565 yards and 15 tds.
DR has either thrown or ran 194 times for 1913 yards and 15 tds.

TP averages 8.84 yards per touch and 1 TD every 12 touches.
DR averages 9.86 yards per touch and 1 TD every 12 touches.

This is with TP not running or throwning for 2.5 quarters against Illinois, and him sitting out the 4th quarter of 3 other games.

They are different, but very similar. If we consider one a Heisman candidate, we must consider the other.

Should be very fun to watch them progress throughout the year, and definatly a blast to see them on the same field in November.

Tressel is going for his 100th win as Buckeye head coach.
The running game needs more work, and they're looking to get it against the worst run defense in the conference.
TP is still injured, and while he'll play, JT isn't going to risk him getting hurt before the Wisconsin night game.

Indiana has a very good passing attack, and the Buckeyes have struggled in the secondary, due in part to injuries and
lack of defensive pressure on the QB.
Cam Heward has yet to make a solid impact as a pass rusher.
Christian Bryant needs to step up as the nickle back in place of Moeller.

The Buckeyes are looking to rebound from a game that was closer than it should have been
by coming back home and getting physical with Indiana.

Buckeyes: 38
Indiana: 13

They can win against Indiana with Bauserman.

And, Bruce Drennan is drunk 3/4 of the time.

Last week saw um and IU at 35 all late in the game, with DR scoring late to win. This week OSU is up 31-0 at the half!

Cream Puffs are good, Schmidt's has the best.
Hey Dubs was watchin the game, and they were showing a thing on Schmidts, and one of the comentators said. "Schmidts, have some of the best cream puffs around" I thought it was pretty funny and reminded me of your post.

A good game for the defense to shut down the Indiana QB after he went wild against UM. The offensive line and not being able to run the ball at times is a problem. Pryor didn't run but didn't need to. Hyde did run well late.

With a loss by Alabama now Ohio State should be ranked #1. OSU needs to keep their heads in the game and play hard against Wisconsin.

Defense gets an A
Pryor gets an A
O-Line gets a C+
and the running backs get U's because they don't even deserve a real letter grade.

Berry looked explosive. Hyde looked really good, except for the fumble. All against Indiana's starting defense.

Berry should start getting 10-15 touches per game. He doesnt lose yards, he at least gets a crease and gets 2-3 instead of LOSING yards like Boom Boom and INSaine.
