LSU has much better talent and athleticism. but as i've stated time and time again, Les Miles has coached this loaded team to 2 losses. i think that will be the difference maker in this game. LSU is undiciplined and poorly coached and you cant win on brute strength alone. if LSU was under any other respectable coach i'd be VERY VERY worried but that's not the case so i'm just a little bit worried. LSU beat some good teams but they lost to a couple decent teams at best. i think it all comes down to which LSU team shows up. If the tigers of early season show up, it's gonna be a long day for the buckeyes, if the more recent beyou bengals show up i see OSU coming away with the W.

as for next year's preseason rankings, OSU will be at least top 5.

well it all depends on the outcome of the GAME and how many people really decide to take the money and run

but heres why

USC John David Booty and those amazing running backs of theirs which probaly 2 will be in the heisman next year (come one you know it) but it depends on the Bowl game

Oklahoma Sam Bradford(is that right? im not a real big Oklahoma concentrater) is coming back with great offense and Tough defense
that will be an all round better team next year

LSU QB change again and thats about it they dont lose a whole lot but all about the outcome of the GAME

Floridia i aint putting them above no one right now

Guys let me tell you about a time that I never loss in regulation, but I did lose in triple overtime twice. Hmmmmmmm. If I remember correctly a loss is a loss. But, I guess in Les Miles world LSU is still undeafted. Oh well, OSU will give them their first at end of regulation loss of the season.

On a side note did anyone see in the Athens Messenger and the article about how the Buckeyes feel as though they're getting no respect. It's a pretty good one. I couldn't find the Messenger article but here's a link to a site that does.http://www.sportsbooks.com/news/sports_betting/377113.html
I love Barton's comments! It's the truth!

I like Ohio State sitting at the underdog position. Hopefully it will serve as motivation for the team. No matter what happens, I will still support them.

This season has been full of surprises (cannot argue with that), and I expect this game to be no different.

I am fine with LSU going to the NCG. I was hoping it would be them. Just saying if we are going to use 2 losses for an argument then the teams with with the best records should go.

doesnt matter what they were ranked at the time. they're like 11th now and playing in the rose bowl, that says more about the team than their ranking at the time of a certain game.

These teams look to be pretty evenly matched.

LSU is a little beat up right now, but they have a long time to get better.

That tigers D has been questionable of late, especially against the run. That favors OSU

I wouldn't be surprised if LSU plays one more 3OT game. I think OSU up front will be the difference though, Florida was a little faster than OSU but these two teams are probably real even, especially when LSU has the ball.

I think Tressel will have his players prepared for this game. Last year he had 50 days off and now he knows what not to do during that time off. Plus there is no distractions like his start QB being on the banquet tour getting fat and slow. The physicality of the Buckeye line will wear down the LSU Defense and allow Beanie to run wild in the second half.

Like Lee Corso said: That Ohio St line is mean and will blow the LSU D line off the ball and allow Beanie to run wild. And when the start to key on Beanie, Boeckman will toss one up to one of the Brians!

Dorsey will be a non factor in this game. He might make a few tackles, but that is it. He is to injured to be a huge factor. I know he has time to heal, but once contact starts his back and knees will begin to wear out by halftime.

Guaranteed one team wins this game. Folks, if you would have told me at the beginning of the season the Buckeyes would go 11-1, beat Michigan, win the Big Ten and have another crack at the National Championship I would have fallen over laughing so hard. Never in my wildest dreams would this have happened and here it is. Forget the talking heads, forget the nonsense on the boards and belt out a big O - H

I - O!

Buckeye look alikes

Heres a thread off an LSU message board where they take the Bukceye pictures and match them up with someone they look like. Soem are pretty funny. They got a couple of Marcus, KC Christian, Whaley, and Petrey on there. You gotta search through to find them.

I thought Miles comment about being unbeaten in regulation is pretty weak. Maybe that keeps him undefeated 10 years ago but not today. Plus, I'm sure the final minutes of both games would have played out differently if both coaches knew there was no OT. He's not proven to be a great public speaker as a head coach as some of the dumbest stuff keeps coming out of his mouth.
