Nathan says that he took the shirts from his buddy after the alarm
system went off at the store.
Apparently his buddy has a a prior for shoplifting, and Nathan didn't want
him to get in any more trouble.

Take it for what it's worth, he shouldn't have been in the situation to
begin with. Stupid is as stupid does.

Seems like to me that this kid better get some new friends fast. Here's why he can make something of himself playing for OSU and possibly going pro he needs to think does he want that or a life crime. Maybe he learn his lesson though.
