OSU vs Wisconsin
Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
The Badgers have never defeated Ohio St when playing in Columbus. Could be interesting.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Ted Ginn's freshman year, he returned his first punt for TD against Wisconsin in Columbus, and we lost!
I was there, don't know where you saw that they have never won in Columbus.

Didn't Wisconsin dismantle us at home back in the day with Ron Dayne also?

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Whiskey lost thanks to their great special teams play tonight so that'll make them hungrier than Nebraska was going into the OSU game after their loss to Wisconsin so I still say Whiskey by 21 next week . (It could be closer if OSU can capitalize on Badger punts, fg's etc. like Sparty did tonight). I don't know if a Big-10 team should be in the Top 15 now. The BCS bowl team from the conference will have it's hands full no matter who they draw.

Like I said, lets wait and see on Wisconsin until they play a team that will test them up front!

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Well, I was looking forward to a fresh, overlooked OSU ambushing an undefeated Wisconsin team in Columbus. Now...yikes, mad badgers. Look out!
Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
I hate rooting againest my buckeyes but we just might be in trouble. And the badgers after last nights game are going to be really really mad.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
If OSU can put together 2 halves against Wisconsin like they did in the 1st half against Nebraska, then Bucks win by 10+!!!!
That's still a big IF though.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
If OSU runs the ball well and turns this into a gritty old fashioned Big 10 game, the can use the homefield advantage to pull off the upset. Shorten the game, play for field position and be in place to win a close game late.
Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
My key to the game can O-State stop the Wisc running game including Wilson scrambling on broken down plays,if they can I think they got a shot, after last week's game most people think Bucky will be mad and motivated, but it could be just the opposite, that was a tough gut wrenching loss and they know their national championship hopes are gone now. Will OSU muster enough offense to pull this one out? Probably not so I'm picking Bucky something like 28-14 but hope i'm wrong.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
i am really interested to see if we can see any progression from braxton miller. bucks have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and no reason to think we wouldnt have been preparing for it a little bit during the fall or spring as well like we used to for michigan prior to rich rods arrival. i am hoping we are able to see a little more imagination with the play calling and some more formations or some sneaking things on first down that will generate a lot less 3rd and longs. this being week 8 and miller having been there for spring ball and fall there is no reason that he shouldnt know the playbook well enough for us to at least open it up a little to keep teams offbalance. i know our recieving corps are injury depleated and very young, but your not gonna beat wisconson running the ball we have to take our shots down the field.
Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
It is time for more players to step up not just Miller or whoever is at QB. As well as showing how this coaching staff can gameplan with 2 weeks. Players and coaches really need to step up and make good decisions in this game on offense, defense and special teams. OSU needs to make big plays. We need some special plays and take chances to make things happen to have a chance to win. This is a complete team effort needed.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Heck, I don't know about this one.
I'm never going into a game expecting a loss, but we have to play 4 quarters of football like we did in the first half vs Nebraska to win this one.
If we can do that, then we win without a doubt.
My doubt though lies in the ability for this team to do that.
Factor that in with the Arrogant One Brett Beilima's desire to beat the Buckeyes and do so with a huge statement,
and I just can't figure this one out.
I'll be cheering the Bucks on, but this game could go from a 10 point Buckeye win, to a 60 point Buckeye loss!

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
This game is big for the players, but it is even bigger for Coach Fickle. I am sure that some people from other schools will be looking a him to see how well he is at preparing for a big game with two weeks to prepares a game plan to beat a very tough Wisconsin team. I am not counting him out on not being back next year yet, but if he isn't rehired, depending how he guides the Bucks the rest of the season, may open up a door to be hired elsewhere as a coach, if he doesn't stay in another position with the team. Everyone is watching to see the game plan he has come up to counter Wisconsin's strength's to give the Bucks a chance of winning this game. I think it will be a tough game, but I think the Bucks can win this game. OSU 21 Wisconsin 17
dubs, I said after the game with Nebraska, that if Joe B, was the QB I wouldn't watch the game, but I changed my mind. I would wear a blindfold and use ear plugs while he is in, then when we are on defense, I would have my wife inform me so I can still watch, or let me know when he is replaced.
Go Bucks

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Gotta go with Wisky on this one. The Badgers have 2 weaknesses, the secondary and Belemia. However OSU can't throw and Bolleman is the OC. Advantage, push. I don't think OSU's defense is nearly as good as everyone else thinks, they react rather than attack and they are really tired by the middle of the 3rd qtr because of how much they have to play. Whisky is a punishing run team who can pass and control the line of scrimmage. Badgers by 14.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
I hope our pass coverage gets better. Dont know how a 265lb FB gets loose on play action every play, but it is killing the Bucks early on.
Miller threw a dart the first series, but unless he sticks it in Corey Brown's facemask I dont think he can catch it (although Miller just about did).
