My pick revolves solely on ND ending the redone turnovers. If they didn't turn it over last week, they would have scored 50+!!!

I think USF's defense was better than the UM D, and ND will move the ball. As long as ND wraps on tackles, doesn't over commit to a run fake, or a scramble from DR, and doesn't turn the ball over, they win!

Reese has a big game throwing the ball, Wood will get over 100 yds. rushing and the defense keeps Robinson in the pocket for most of the night making him beat them with his arm and not his legs.

UM may want to turn the lights out the way they are playing the 1st quarter.

It was like neither team wanted to win at the end. They would make a big mistake and allow the other team to score. Then it ended with ND fumbling the kickoff with UM picking it up and fumbling it out of bounds. What an up and down game.

Love this one being over rated university loss again.

I can't wait to hear the ESPN guys tell us how this is a good team and how there is a lot of football left to play, and how they still have a chance to play in a BCS bowl.

Well, that was entertaining if nothing else. 3 TDs in the last 72 seconds. I liked how the UM fans stayed around after the game.

Outside of DR, Michigan is lacking on offensive threats and has no real flow.

Hoke will do what he can with what RR left him to work with. They will improve quickly in year 2 under him.

Also, loved both of the throw back uniforms, including the officials and their white hats. Although I kept getting confused by the head ref in his black hat with white piping calling out the penalties.

I know one thing, when either one of these teams meet teams with a good defense they will be beaten into the ground,That was the worst excuse for defenses ive seen in yrs i would prob rank them with that sorry excuse that was in ohio stadium last week. Both of these teams are the most overated teams in the country, but mark my word now everyone will come out and say michigan is back again just like the past 4 or 5 yrs .Yes and being a buckeye fan i say they are overated right now ,i have said it all yr.But i see michigan doing there typical thing going 4 or 5 and 0 then falling on their face ,notre dame might win 6 games they do have the service acadamies to play yet.And michigan fans dont worry you have three cupcakes coming up with e.michigan, san diego st,and minnesota .I dont want to hear about the bucks schedule thats not what this is about .Everyone in the country plays cupckes including the mighty notre dame .JMO

LEt me set a few things straight first.

1. Michigan's best corner (Woolfolk) played on again off again the entire game and rarely played at all in the 1st half. He sprained his ankle in last weeks game then tore ligaments in practice on Wednesday.
2. Mike Martin has had mono for going on three weeks yet still plays.
3. Brandon Herron (int for td and fumble for td) fractured a bone in his leg during practice on thursday.
4. Cam Gordon hurt his lower back (disc) two weeks ago and has yet to play.
5. Fitz Toussaint, the nice runningback who ran for td's v western was out with a shoulder injury suffered during practice on Thursday.
6. Carvin Jhonson starting nickel out with sprained ankle.

That is 4 starters on defense for this game out or playing on one wheel and a fractured hand. The starting RB for this game was also out. UM just played Notre Dame without a 1/5 of their starters. This is not an excuse just a fact.

How are these teams over rated? No one is hyping either team. Most have said Notre Dame has the ability to be good but kills themselves, and no one has said UM is anything but what they are. You do realize that Georgia and South Carolina just gave up 45 and 42 to one another right? I mean the SEC is manball and all.

Anyways, no one will say anything about UM until they beat someone ranked. I certainly am not and this staff certainly is not. I thought Brady said it best, "we are a work in progress".

Why even come over here and start insulting both teams? You bucks fans (Mab43bac) in particular need to just not post on Michigan threads if you can't help but bring OSU into it. Yes we play a bad E.Michigan coming up, then we play a SDSU team that won 9 games last season under Hoke. How is that our fault? Congrats OSU is king of the MAC, and now you play a Miami team that is awful and a Colorado team that is probably not as good as Toledo. I also don't want to hear how Toledo is so good and could beat whoever. When Michigan fans said that about Western Michigan (who is picked above Toledo), we were met with Western still sucks. Well Toledo still sucks and to be honest I don't care to talk about OSU on a Michigan thread.

Mister B, Agree on offense. Until UM gets healthy it is going to be tough to get a real flow.

Final thought, this was a great win for a team that is still trying to find its self.

No one is making excuses. You are the OSU slappy coming on a Michigan thread, insulting Michigan and Notre Dame, making excuses for your team, all the while trying to point out how awful our schedule is.

You aren't telling me anything I don't know already. I know we are not a great team and never said we were. Our talent level is not where it needs to be just yet.

If you want to comment on your team go to an OSU thread. Like you said everyone plays cupcakes, and you have your first 5 games against them, so don't come on this thread saying how bad our competition is when yours is no better. Congrats on your 5 point win in the final seconds at home over Toledo. Let me know when they have a player on their team like Floyd, Riddick, or Te'O.
