Re: Michigan v. ND
I honestly dont see them losing to Iowa or MSU and definetly dont see them losing to Wisky, even though when they match up its always a good game and can go either way. I say 8-4 to 9-3 for "that team". And next year, look out
Re: Michigan v. ND
We will find out a lot about Michigan this week.
Brandon Minor should not be in the lineup again this week, and JR Hemmingway is 50%.
All I know is UM starts two Freshmen at the most important position in football, and sooner or later they will make mistakes that may cost the team a game they should win.
The point I am trying to get across is how inexperienced and young Michigan is at key positions.
ex:
Boubacar Cissoko (sophomore) hurt his shoulder last week, he will only be about 75% this week His backups are JT Floyd (RFr.) and Justin Turner (Fr.).
Behind Donnavon Warren are JT Floyd and Van Slyke (Rsoph).
Both Safeties are backed up by two true freshmen and one of our safeties is a Junior (Wolfolk) and the other a RSophomore (Williams).
DT Mike Martin (Sophomore) is backed up by Will Campbell (freshmen).
Ryan Van Bergan (RSophomore) starting DE, and the Spinner position is starter Craig Roh (freshmen) backed up by Brandon Herron (RSoph) and Mike Jones (freshmen).
The backup LB's to Ozeh and Mouton are JB Fitzgerald (Sophomore) and Kenny Demens (RFreshmen).
All most all of the back up players on the Offensive Line are RFreshmen.
All of the slots but one are underclassmen.
All of the wideouts are underclassmen but Greg Matthews and Latreyl Savoy.
All three TE's are underclassmen.
This team is very young!

Peake, Do u know how long minor will be out?
Also i see this year setting up a hugeseason for next year as long as tate and Robinson stay healthy and dont get hurt because I think they will need both to be successful but that is jsut my thoughts

Re: Michigan v. ND
I hope Michigan knows how fortunate they are. Very POOR play calling by Weis on ND's last possion. They could have easily eaten up another minute with two runs instead of throwing the home run ball which put them in a must pass situation. Also, a very poor punt, ya gotta be clutch in those situations. God, I hate Michigan!!!!!!!

Two big time coaches at two big time programs cost their teams games
their teams had won Saturday: Charlie Weiss and Jim Tressel.

Re: Michigan v. ND
The reason Michigan was acting like it was a national title win was because of all the hype about Notre Dame this year.
good win for Michigan
good win for Michigan
Re: Michigan v. ND
Michigan is back. This is good for the Big Ten. probably the only team in the conference that actually looked decent on saturday. The end of the seaon will be very interesting with RR's wide open shootout offense, vs. OSU's ultra conservative approach. Interesting start to the season.

I do agree that this win will look good for the big ten but osu's defense didn't actually play bad. the offense just needs some tuning up. the defense played their butts off!
Re: Michigan v. ND
That was a great win.
Michigan was without their #1 wideout (Hemmingway), and Stonum left after the 3rd with injury.
Michigan still has a long way to go, but they are on their way back.
Notre Dame is a good team. Floyd may be the 2nd best wideut in the country (Dez Bryant).
Go Blue!
So who was it that said RRod was going to get his butt handed to him by the Irish?

Rich Rod just got ripped on Rome is burning because he said this after viewing the tape. WTF ? He defends his thugs. Brushed it off because the refs didnt see it. I guess its ok if they commit murder in a dark alley as long as they dont get caught.
