Ahh I see no harm in the endzone dive. No it wasn't neccissary but I don't think it hurt anything. It was a bs penalty like a handful of others that game. He did have 2 defenders closing in on him. He would have scored regardless but doin his superman impression he avoided contact from the defense.

If I remember correctly, santonio holmes had a few endzone dives in his buckeye days also lol

Yea I think that may have been it because sanzenbacher was flagged for it earlier in the game. Either of the 2, the penalty was dumb

Big 10 officiating crew will be doing the National Title game.

I wonder if they will through the flags as quickly for all the "taunting" that will go on in that one!!!

Very true, maybe some of these SE Ohio bandwagon fans for the SEC can provide us with enough entertainment until the game. Hell, I am bored enough to even entertain some Big East supporters as well.
You looking for me Hoggy? :122245 :122245 :122245

LOL, looking for anyone that wants to debate, argue and discuss the game partner. This 5 week lay off is too much time and without some different opinions and occasional ruffling of feathers, this becomes boring. So, if you are here to talk some football (which you do pretty well and not just throw jabs or comments like Go Pigs, worthless nuts, etc.), then the answer is yes sir I am looking for you. Now bring on the discussion or comments.....hell, play devils advocate or something. I never thought I would say this, but I wish General Troll would lay down the Cam doll and come make his typical SEC loving post.

Although, me and General Troll have been exchanging some pretty interesting PMs back and forth. I think he is mad because some posters (me to be included) made him look foolish about his comment of eating Burg_Grad77 and spitting him out.

Go Buckeyes!

Well, don't make foolish posts, if you're going to get bent out of shape when someone makes you look foolish.

Skin has to be thick to hang on the college forum, I love it that our mods let this forum have more rope to hang ourselves with. So long as what happens here stays here.

I agree with this statement. The one good bowl win of the last 20 years or so was the Nat'l championship game with Miami which is still controversial to me (interference) ? All the other's from Coop and Tress (Arizona State, BYU, Texas A&M, Kansas State,Oregon are all teams that are traditionally "average to good" but not exceptional in the college football world (Oregon got beat last year by OSU and Auburn will kill them this year). On the other hand the Florida States, Florida's, LSU's, Texas and USC's of the world have been at or near the top for most of the last 30 or more years and yes, tradition does count regardless of what some on these message boards say. With this being said, if OSU is going to get the monkey off their back this has to be the year because they are playing another "average to good" team they can beat. Just don't beat the ole chest too much when OSU wins and say it's a great win because it won't be as it's against the 4th best team in the SEC. If they lose oh well, there's always next year.

FANOSPORTS, Ohio State has won seven NCS and WVU has won 0 so who really needs to get the monkey off their back. I guess New England Patriots need to get the monkey off their back because they have never won a Superbowl against an exceptional team with tradition like Dallas. If a team is playing in a BCS Bowl most years they play the best teams, except this year the Big East is extremely weak not having a team near the top ten. Arkansas finished second in the great SEC but now that the Buckeyes are going to play them they aren't very good. Some of you Buckeye haters wear me out trying to twist things around. Do you guys ever step back and read the BS you write?

WTF does this have to do with the thread? Besides, I doubt that is the monkey he was talking about.

OSU is always in a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. If they lose to an SEC team, they continue to lose to the SEC and another year of bashing. If they beat Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl, they beat a decent SEC team that isn't that good and OSU got lucky to get them instead of a traditional SEC powerhouse.

OSU is a target for many because they continue to have winning seasons, conference championships and BCS Bowl game appearances. I guess people are tired of seeing them in the thick of things every year lately. I do have to agree though, this 0-9 against the SEC has to end or they will never get any respect.

I hope the Big Ten as a whole performs well in their bowl games or that will be more fuel for the fire!

Arkansas is not a traditional power, but this year they are better than most of those powers. Since were playing them this year and not in the past, then their level of play this year is all that counts.

Funny, a WVU fan telling buckeye fans that tradition counts.

It is what it is -- a pretty good team this year with very little winning tradition behind it. They caught a year where the traditional powers were having a down year. Those type teams usually don't fare too well against traditional powers.

We need some more bowl games to occupy us and not allow the down time to influence our better judgment.

So what is the weather like in Ohio today? It was mid 30s and drizzling out here in Seattle today with a slight chance of some snow flurries later on tonight.

No, I don't threaten people on the internet. I want to draw you a picture so you can understand what it has to do with this thread. I tried typing real slow but you still didn't understand.
