tOSU vs Va Tech

Interesting matchup. Va Tech will throw the ball and have a solid RB as well.
OSU's defense looked vulnerable on the edge as well as gave up easy passes to open receivers while again playing a soft defense that didnt blitz much against the run or pass against Navy. I am curious to see if OSU plays the younger, quicker LB's more in this game to contain the outside rush and if they will finally go into a man to man coverage on defense since they have better skill players in the defensive backfield to not give up the easy 5-10 yard throws.
IMO OSU's offense will continue to get better every week as long as the line improves. Their defense should not have struggled against Navy the way they did and will really have to get after it this week because they cant afford to have a freshman QB and new O line playing from behind and expect to win.
Thoughts?

Ohio States D-line sets the tone in this one. Offense gonna be hard to come by for Va Tech! Margin my not be a blow out but Bucks will be in control all night.

I hope it's nothing resembling a classic. A night game in front of possibly the largest crowd ever at Ohio Stadium including blue chip recruits against an unranked opponent should be grounds for a mauling.

Bucks pull the game out with a late field goal. TOSU 17 VPI 16.

Hoping the Buckeyes roll and it's over by halftime. Lebron in the house and a blowout to impress the recruits.

Where is the pass defense? Looks like same Sh!t different day with this defense. Ash, Fickell...... It doesn't matter. Something has to change because the results aren't.

This defense looks as bad as the defense from last year.

VPI has the superior experience, fundamentals, and coaching. Game not over but OSU looking at an embarrassing beat down. When will the vaunted 5 star talent that Myer has recruited show up and play hard nose football?

This is more than missing Braxton. This just isn't a championship team.
