we should be careful not to underperform in this game after the huge game with the sooners. I think the bucks could name their score here. don't want to see jt running unless it's a have to case. the buckeyes looked awesome sat. against boomer sooner nation. and made a huge statement to the country. and I think they could give bama a real run at number 1. Louisville I predict will roll in at 3 with the guys in the funny helmets at 4 from up north. I just knew ndsu was gonna beat iowa. I wrote it down in my terlet Athlon book months ago. I hated that for iowa and the big ten, but loved it for ndsu. and great wins by sparty, ttun, and the children of the corn. my big buddy dave rimington will be a happy camper. I can't wait to talk to him, he'll be stoked.

Should see a lot of playing time against Rutgers. Hope they don't hold him back. Handing off doesn't help much.

They have a GREAT return man, so that may be how Rutgers gets on the board, if they do at all. I think Urban takes it slightly light on his boy Ash, somewhere in the 59-7 range.

With the playoff format the way it is you have to DESTROY teams now instead of just winning, style points if you will. Shutouts are very impressive to the selection committee as well. A big difference between Meyer and Tressel is DESTROYING your opponent. I was sort of shocked however that the Buckeyes took their foot off the gas pretty earlier against Oklahoma.

you are absolutely right my friend. I used to admire tressel for not doing this when he could have. but now it's a have to.

I think this Buckeye team is on a MISSION, and being so young will only get better and better. They could be very very scary come November. Some of the mistakes we see are from their youth/inexperience and will get cleaned up.
Tressel was a great coach in his own right and we glad to have him, but Urban Meyer is in a different class. I know it's extremely early with a lot of football to play but this Ohio State team, in a "rebuilding" year, could very well find themselves in the 4 team playoffs as Big Ten Champions. And then they have possibly the best recruiting class ever coming in 2017.
