Kosta Koufos or Greg Greg Oden Who is better

I say Koufus is a lot better right now. On offense
Koufus has a lot more game then Oden even when he is healthy.

I needed to include more OFF game.

I loved Oden but in all honesty Koufos has a much more polished game than Oden. Oden is still raw and he might have more potential(maybe not now because of the injury) but again Koufos's game is much more developed than what Odens was at this point.

2 Very different players. Oden was playing one handed and still dominated!!!

Koufos will be a great pro with his outside shooting ability.

At this time last year Oden had hand problems.

Also Oden was more defense while Koufos goes more offense

Wonder what it will be like next year with Mullins and Koufos in there at the same time

Koufos is probably better at this point of the season then most would have thought. With the excption of his shooting range, not close to Oden.

koufos is more developed on the offensive side with his range and feet work..oden traveled alot last year..but oden is a great defender and defense wins championships

Oden--by far. Although i haven't watched more than a few OSU basketball games this year, I can honestly say that Greg Oden is a much better player.

Koufus has played 5 games...

Oden lead OSU to a Big 10 title and the National Champioship game....let's have this conversation at the end of the year.

But right now, they are 2 completely different types of players...Oden much better on defense, and Koufus more polished and with more range on O.

On a collegiate level I would have to take Koufos, just because he is more offensively sound. On an NBA level I take Oden. Oden had the ability to take over a game, through defense or his big play abilities. I don't see that factor in Koufos. To me Oden is someone you can build a team around unlike Koufos, who is more of an accessory to a team.

This may be the captain obvious post of the week. There is no comparison between the two. Oden was a man amongst boys. Koufus may be a bit more polished offensively than Oden was, but that is it. Oden was nothing but pure brute force and athleticism. The man covered ground on teh defense end like the pretator. He struck fear in defenders eyes before they even suited up. He is a once in a lifetime type of recruit. He does things this other kid could not even dream of. What a dumb comparison!
