More crap from ESPN

On Gameday they were just talking about the SEC being 4-0 in bowl games and how superior they are to everyone else, then they talk about Big Ten being 2-2. The facts:
Miss. State over UCF (C-USA) = Purdue over CMU (MAC)
PSU over Texas A&M > Bama over Colorado
MSU 3 point loss to #14 BC > UK's farce of a win over depleted FSU
Auburn over Clemson > Okla State win over IU
SEC may be 4-0, but they have had much easier bowl games than Big 10 teams so far.
Remaining games:
Wisconsin and Tennessee - most even game of bunch.
Illini at USC - USC home game.
Michigan at Florida - Florida home game.
OSU at LSU - can't win a legit Nat'l Championship on your home turf - play it on a nuetral field.

Hopefully this happens:
Wisconsin over Tennessee
Michigan over Florida
Ohio State over LSU
Then the SEC can't say anthing about the Big Ten and the "experts" on ESPN can shut up. I would love to see Mark May speechless!

They will still talk. If Im not mistaken head to head last year the Big 10 was 3-1 against the SEC in bowl games only loss being the National Championship game. It seems to me that means Big 10 is better if they took 3 of 4 vs the almighty SEC.

I was a little curious when I opened this thread because it was headed "More Crap From ESPN" so I was assuming that it was something bad from Espn.

Tennessee won the game to make the SEC 5-0. Though a NO Call when a Tenn. DB hit a Wisconsin WR when he was out of bounds was not callled really hurt. If they would have called it Wisconsin would have been on Tenn. 15 yard line with about 30 seconds left. Since they didnt they were on the 30 and tried to go for it all resorting in a INT. Good game though I think Wisconsin should have won that.

Last year the Big Ten was 2-0 against the SEC on New Year's Day. As we have all seen, the outcome of those games were ignored. The only game that matter happens on Monday.

Although Wisconsin lost to Tennessee, hopefully Florida will lose to Michigan (current score MI 28 FL 20...it will be close). Then, with some luck, Ohio State beats LSU and viola 2-1 vs the SEC bandwagon.
If that scenario occurs, then the Big-10 would be 5-2 vs SEC in the past 2 years (71%) and eventually the SEC bandwagon will shut the hell up.

Even if LSU beats OSU, the Big 10 will be 6-5 against the SEC over the past 4 years... that's hardly dominance. I'm sure you will understand if I disagree. LSU will be next year's version of this year's Florida.... they've won with Saban's players.
Look at Florida's recruiting class for next year.... not anywhere near the top 10 acording to Scout and they're supposedly right in the middle of a college football gold mine - the South (aka the Dead Weight of this country). They just lost to a two score underdog.... suddenly Urban Meyer looks VERY human.

It a conspiracy! When they made the order for the BCS bowls they knew that LSU would play in the championship against OSU just so they can talk about SEC vs. Big 10. You are totally right!
Just so you know, the game is in New Orleans not Baton Rouge, not a home came. And, technically its a home game for OSU.

It pretty much is a home game for LSU, if I am Ohio State I decide to wear the away uni's and go into this game the underdogs like they did the year they beat Miami.

It's being played in Louisanna - it's a home game for LSU!. And your conspiracy comment is just plain stupid - no one is claiming such a thing. The SuperBowl is played in the north at places like Detriot and Seattle, they can play the NCG in the north also.

What are they supposed to do? the order the bowls come in just happened to give LSU a little bit of a home field advantage. So your saying take the championship away from New Orleans because LSU is in it. That is stupid. And if you played in a place like Detroit that would be a home game for OSU. Tickets are sold for bowl games way before the games are announced, so your saying take the game away from one city becuase it is to close to their home campus!

Arkansas got embarassed playing in their all red uniforms for the first time to honor their past coach and retiring AD Frank Broyles. Missouri played well to stop whatever Ark wanted to do. Maybe the coach leaving and the McFadden SUV situation had an effect on them. This SEC team got outplayed by Missouri and one tem to beat Missouri was Illinios of the Big 10.

All of LSU's BCS wins have come in state. And the point about the not changing the game because a local team is in it goes without saying. My point is in general the NCG does not have to be played in the Southwest or South. Play it in the domes in St. Louis, Detriot, Seattle, Indianapolis, etc. Playing that game at one of 4 locations increases the odds that teams from those area will eventually play home game for NCG. Increase the number of locations that are rotated and you decrease that likely hood.

I would add one more location to the BCS mix. That would be St. Louis. The isnt a BCS bowl in the central time zone.

I think St. Louis would be a good location.
