USC lost by 12 points, I think - I wasn't paying as much attention to the score as I was to watching O.J. Mayo play. It was the first time I had seen a USC televised game.
Even in a losing effort the announcers commented on his general level of poise and maturity for a true freshman, and on that sweet shot of his.
I just wish he had picked a school east of the Mississippi that would get a little more television time in our area.
