Re: Defensive Line NFL Combine Results
I would like to see the Browns get Vernon, but that will never happen.
Re: Defensive Line NFL Combine Results
The combine is nothing but a bunch of bull anyways. Gholston is a stud, but he was a weight lifting stud back in his hs days. Michigan didn't want him because he looked like tarzan and played like Jane. He wanted to be a body builder since his hs days. He is an animal no doubt.
Crable on the other hand ran a 4.6, what else do you want? I don't care how fast his 40 is, tell me of all the DE's here, who could run down Ringer like Crale did. Overall, you want ot test top to bottom speed, there is no one faster, the guy ran a 10.9 100m in hs. Bench reps, he had the longest wing span of any DE, and still cranked out what 27 or 28? He is an absolute athelete, who will be used like Terrele Suggs.

^^^^ played like Jane?? Ask Henne if he played like jane when he was sacked 3 times by him. But no, UM wouldn'y want an All-American with 14+ sacks.

Re: Defensive Line NFL Combine Results
That comment was pointed towards Gholston at the HS ranks. UM didn't want him because he looked like Tarzan and played like Jane. He has become a stud, but in HS from what I observed he was nowhere near as dominant. Geesh, how you buckeye fans hate to hear that your players aren't always the best in the world.
Re: Defensive Line NFL Combine Results
Don't forget UM is one year removed from having the best DL in the country in LaMar Woodley, and I truely believe that Brandon Grahm is going to be the best DE in the Big Ten this season.
