The Ohio State University can lay claim to 17 current or former athletes that qualified for the 2008 Olympics

Gymnastics:
Paul Hamm
Morgan Hamm
Raj Bhavsar

Fencing:
Siobhan Byrne (Ireland)
Jason Rogers
Hannah Thompson

Swimming:
Itai Chammah (Israel)
Gulsah Gunenc (Turkey)
Niska Roski (Croatia)

Rowing:
Bryan Volpenhein
Margot Shumway

Synchronized Swimming:
Kate Hooven
Becky Kim

Basketball:
Michael Redd
Katie Smith

Tennis:
Devin Mullings (Bahamas)

Softball:
Kristi DeVries (Netherlands)

Also, Miles Avery is a coach on the US Gymnastics team, he is also the coach of the Men's Gymnastics team at OSU.
