I think Mark May takes the cake for most biased commentator (that's right, even more than Brent Musberger ). earlier this month i was watching a college football preview on ESPN and when asked who was most likely to fall out of the top 25 he said, "it's not because of the rivalry or anything, but i think WVU." then when asked who his dark horse was he said, "it's not because i went there or anything, but i think Pitt." coincidence? i think not

and just i couldn't help but laugh when i heard BG had beaten Pitt

How in the world can you think that Brent Mussburger is biased? He is the best announcer in college football, and if he's biased towards anyone its Ohio State. Thats all he talks about, but I still say hes just a fan of the game.

I agree about Musberger. However, I think he has gradually become worse since Hypestreet joined him in the booth. Herpiestreit always says "so and so is THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY at this or that" and then says the same thing about someone else the next week. He is a hyperbole machine, and ruins my enjoyment of college football. I hate overhype and manufactured issues and controversy. Musberger being around him has caused Musberger to go off subject more frequently and to add idiotic comments to his repertoire. Bring back Bob Davie. He isn't great, but he is much better than Herbgeek.

My favorite crew ever was Brent Mussburger, Gary Danielson, and Jack Arute.

Keith Jackson was always my favorite announcer, but I couldn't stand listening to Dan Fouts. He was terrible.

I agree with all you said, though Danielson has turned into a major SEC shill since being shunned by ABC for Herbie, which led to his current job with CBS. However, when he was with Musberger, they both were great.

When does Ohio play BG? That one should be hillarious too...

i dont hear anybody picking OU to be any darkhorse, do you? OU is picked to finish like 6th in the MAC East, not the MAC, the MAC East. stay on topic.

Nobody ever picks the Bobcats as a darkhorse in anything..Why would they??Good Luck v BG you'll need it...

i hope you know you're really not hurting my feelings any with this. the bobcats went 6-6 last year with the best RB in school history so i know this year is gonna be a long one especially after losing a player like McRae. you on the other hand seem to be a little sore...hmmm, wonder why.

I think I've figured it out Brutus.When your Bobcats fail you as they often do you just jump on that Buckeye bandwagon right?That way you can have your cake and eat it too...I think all BP was saying is the fact that BG is better than people think....

actually no, you haven't the slightest clue. see, i'm from Athens so i've grown up following the Bobcats and i now attend OU. but my entire family is made up of die hard Buckeye fans and i've been one as well for as long as i can remember. nice try though.

he also said when they gave the ohio state final. the buckeyes are just playing youngstown state. but earlier in the week, he had made an earlier comment , about pitt, playing a lowly mac team. i was thinking the very same thing. he is the worlds worst. i love when ole lou prods him.

I have to agree that May is awful but Holtz with him is equally as bad. Holtz is not a homer but he has the worlds worst lisssssp. May on the other hand bows down to the SEC and pitt. I have never heard him say one thing good thing about the Big Ten. He should take a look at his darling little pitt team and the conference they are in. WV is the only team that is any good in the Big East. BG is a good team out of the MAC and they shocked a lot of people with what they bring to the table, but lets face the fact that pitt was way overrated to begin with.
