Beanie Update

Post by RamRodBulldogs44 »

I was just watching Sportscenter and they gave an update on Beanie. It was said by his mother that he has a toe injury not turf toe and that Beanie has every intention of playing Saturday against Ohio U. So, USC you better be watching cause here come the Buckeyes!

Bad idea. I know everyone wants to see him win the Heisman, but I'd rather see him miss a week if it means being closer to 100% for the USC game.

Nevadabuck an "insider" on Scout has been saying all along that Beanie would be fine, but this is simply a matter of pain management on his part. The injury will not get worse. The injury will not get better during the season. So, Beanie will just have to play through pain. Consequently, playing in the OU game would not make much of a difference either way, outside of maybe easing his pain for the first few plays of the USC game.

Just ten minutes after the Beanie injury, Nevadabuck posted, "Beanie will be fine :-D "

Then again after more near ledge jumping from posters....

"Trust me, Beanie will be fine ;-) "

I think Beanie should play because it will keep him in a rythm of game speed. Also, Beanie said he does not want to be rusty for USC.

i can understand not wanting to be rusty for the USC game but if the score is the way it was in the YSU game, i dont want to see the #28 after about half way through the 3rd quarter.

Just heard it on SportsCenter. Beanie is out for this weekend. I believe this is a good thing. Let him sit and rest so he can be as close to 100% as he can be for USC.

I just saw that on espn.com. I'm actually torn about the decision just because I know that you can get rusty or get out of a rhythm. In the end it will probably be the best decision. I look for a huge win over Ohio U. and the defense to send a message. I just want Sept. 13th to get here!! (It's like Christmas!! :-D )
