I question the integrity of the big 10 with the officials they allow to call games. Between this and the Indiana game, the officiating was crooked to say the least. Valentine has been a piece of zzzz every since he's been in the league.

Aaron Craft another critical floor mistake late in a Big Ten game for Ohio State.
Buckeye interior players got mugged most of the night.
The Paul kid was totally unconscious shooting threes.
Can Ohio State handle the mantle of its' high (well, it was) ranking?

This team os lacking senior leadership. Buford should be filling that role but is not. They will do fine in Value City but don't look for a long run in the NCAA this year. They can always catch fire but right now they look like a Sweet 16 team and no more.

I agree. Buford is quite possibly the biggest disappointment in the Big 10 to this point.

I watched the game, and it wasn't the officiating that cost the Buckeyes the game.........it was because OSU coudn't guard Brandon Paul all night.........he scored the 3rd highest points (43) for any Illinois player in history..........43 of 79 points.......that's why the Buckeyes lost.

again the officials, first they call too many touch fouls now their letting the players play physical...its the big ten thats how basketball is played..and ohio state lossed because of brandon paul scoring 43 points, they couldn't guard him and the failed execution late in the game when craft turns it over

This ends OSU's streak of beating unranked opponents, correct?

Buford is a showboat who lays an egg in just about every crucial point in the game. He tries to play above his ABILITY and that normally translates to him turning it over or taking terrible shots. I cannot believe up to this point that Matta hasnt taken playing time away from him. Its like he gets it in his head that he is going to take a shot, no matter how bad the shot is, well before he attempts it.

3 pt shooting has not been good either. They are such streaky shooters that nearly any Big Ten team can play with them on an off night shooting behind the arc. Its sad when Sully has the 2nd best 3pt percentage on the team.

This team is seriously missing Lighty and Diebler.
