He is not the brightest bulb in the fixture, but to his credit, most of the garbage he spews is scripted for him.

He is told what to say, and he does that job well. It's all built for ratings and to bring about debate.

ESPN knows that OSU has one of if not the most rabid fan base, and they script stuff for their "pundits" to say that will either make Buckeye fans react in a positive or negative way. Either way, it gets the job done, and that's making people watch and discuss what happens on ESPN.

When the Buckeyes win saturday, I can almost hear what Mark May will say first time he gets the chance.

"Congrats to the Buckeyes, they played well, but lets wait and see what happens when they have to play a mobile QB and face the true spread like against Illinois or any SEC opponent they may face in the title game.
