Poor clock management at the end by WVU, but I don't think they could get in range for McAfee to try one at the end of the game but you at least still try.

WVU needs to play through this. Those chip shots should be made by the senior McAfee.

They didnt look like they pratice the 2 min drill much.

I think WVU wins more this year, but UM wasn't expected to compete for a National Title either. UM will be a force soon and WVU will slump back down into mediocrity.

WVU needs to pass the ball more. They couldnt run on Colorado very well especially when it counted. If they threw the ball more it would have opened up for Pat White. I thik they have had 45 total passing yards in both of their losses. That will kill you in college ball.

I KNEW THE HIRING OF UNPROVEN BILL STEWART AT WVU, WASA MISTAKE. IT WAS A KNEE JERK REACTION TO LOSING RICH ROD. THEY NEEDED TO LOOK ELSEWHERE. HE HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO THROW A COUPLE ACROSS THE MIDDLE , TO SET UP A GAME WINNING FIELD GOAL, OR PERHAPS A TOUCHDOWN. HE AND THE QB, WERE NOT ON THE SAME PAGE AND CHOKED EQUALLY ON THE CLOCK. I do think they beat Oklahoma with pure emotion, but I doubt pure hatred. Don't forget half of RR staff went with him to Michigan, and they were coaching that game. I still don't see what Stewart did to garner any of the credit. Calvin McGee was the genious of that game, not Stewart. McGee had full control of the offense that game and had and outstanding gameplan.

I agree WVU hiring Stewart was knee jerk. They should have gotten Bowden, who had plenty of southern ties in recruiting.

hey they had the chance to win your kicker has to make those type of kicks and it was only 23 yards or something like that it wasnt like it was 40-50 yards

This is what happens when you let Pat White carry the team. They have N. Devine too put with both at RB position teams are loading up the box and forcing them to pass. The defense is not that great either.

Not only at the end of the game did they screw up the time mgmt but also at the end of the half. I always root against WVU but was screaming at the TV to call to sooner than they did with 10 seconds left. They could have easily forced a punt and in that situation (4th and 15 from your own 5) you tell your guys to block that kick and don't worry about the roughing the kicker penalty. Pin your ears back. They hadn't done a thing in the first half offensively and were lucky to only be down 7 going into halftime b/c they gave up nearly 300 yards of offense. Funny part is that Stewart was laughing in the ht interview and even the commentators said he found "his happy place". Mediocrity describes it best!!! Shouldn't have happened this soon but it is a sign of the future in Morgantown. What if they didn't have Pat White???????? They lost a good coach but he went from McDondalds to working for AEP in analytical terms.
