I've been hesitant to talk about how good Penn State is based on the oppenents theyve played. It's still too early to tell exactly how good penn state is but penn state is one of two big ten teams undefeated in the regular season. Penn State has an explossive offense that can put points on the board, but has shown so weaknesses in the secondary.

We will learn how good penn state is when they begin to play top caliber teams on the road which seam to be wisconsin and ohio state right now. I believe they have a great chance to take the title this year in the big ten.

i hope penn state is undefeated like the schedule theyve had ...its alittle to early to tell but ive got them going 9-3 just because they have to play at the shoe and in madison and losing to another team on the way ohio state is still the class of the big ten because they have won it the last three years

PSU isn't as good as Florida. I saw both in person and now can accurately predict the score of the game. Florida would squeak it out 31-7.

As much as I hate Penn State, I have them going 10-2, with losses to Wisconsin an Ohio State, and will probably tie with Wisconsin for second in the Big Ten.

Orestes, youre an idiot. Thats blatantly obvious. You know Florida is better than Ohio State this year. You just cant see past your "Ohio State is the greatest at everything" bias. Its quite amusing.

Sorry, I just don't see anything about losing to Ole Miss that makes it 100% certain Florida is better than Ohio State. They might be, but it's completely asinine of you to make such a blanket statement. You will learn someday, child, that it is wise to not speak in absolutes.

Likely good enough to get an at large birth to the BCS with a 10-2 or even 11-1 record.

They won't beat OSU at the shoe. They should however win the rest of their games.

If JoePa just continues to let whoever is coaching the team from behind the scenes to do his thing, they'll be all right.

i'll give 'em credit though. PSU is lookin pretty good thus far and doing their part to bring some respect back to the Big 10.

Penn St should blow Purdue off the field today. Some "experts" are talking like Penn St will have trouble on the road against the worst defense in the Big Ten.

Problem I have with the "Experts" is this:
Mississippi beat Florida last week, and it "showed the depth and toughness of the SEC."
If Purdue, who is much like Mississippi, beats Penn St, who is much like Florida,
it will, "show that Penn St hasn't played anyone to prepare and is over rated."

they are best in the Big 10 for sure. they will lose 1 of the next three games though

i wouldnt say theyre the best in the big ten...lets see how they fare at madison and then on oct 25th at the shoe i dont see any big ten teams stopping ohio state and i would love to see usc and ohio state play again and see what the outcome would be

they've certainly surprised me thus far in the season but they're no good on the road and this week against Purdue showed that. they'll be lucky to win 2 of their next 3 games (@Wisky, vs. UM, @OSU).

I am not yet sold on this Penn State team being a top 10 team or winning the Big 10 title.
