These voters are doing everything possible to keep Ohio State out of the running for the BCS Championship. Yesterday wasn't a "quality" win but come on....

I'm glad Missouri finally got exposed... it's just too bad that it had to be by another pretender.
And to think that the Tigers could have been the #1 team in the country... Whew! Crisis temporarily avoided. OK State will be beaten by Texas in a couple of weeks - probably by 3 scores - and then the masquarade going on in the Big 12 will almost be over with.
Lets wait until Ohio State finishes these next two against Michigan State and Penn State (who played like the best team in the country last night) before we get upset.
Yeah, Florida won big against the supposed 3rd ranked Tigers, but LSU's offense was off and they played into Florida's defensive strengths + Florida is inconsistent. IMO, Florida will lose at least one more game.

I agree about Ohio State and the next two games. I'd rather win those games and then be given substantial moves up, than to be moved up now even a little and then come up short. It's times for OSU to earn it's place in the polls and prove it's worth to be there, even to it's fans, not move up by default.

Couple of huge weeks for Ohio State.
They need to win these games, if not for this year but for the years to come.
It could very easily be a Texas vs USC rematch for the Championship.

I actually like Penn State's chances to be in the big game more than USC's or Texas'. I personally don't see Oklahoma losing again - at their best, they're head and shoulders above everyone in the Big 12 besides Texas. USC's weak S.O.S is finally starting to draw some attention - I actually heard someone on ESPN finally bring that up last night.
I think Bama loses to either LSU or Auburn and if they get into the SEC Championship, they'll lose for sure.
I'm not making predictions, but my gut says Penn State v. Texas.

The AP Poll does not influence the BCS. It is as important as a list at your local drinking establishment.

im still not sold on penn state being a national contender...yea theyre good but i dont think theyre are as good as people say they are last night they beat an overrated wisconsin team that lossed to a pathetic michigan team and their schedule is very weak syracuse, temple and others wait till they go to columbus and see how'll then ill think if theyre a national contender
and michigan state is a sleeper in the big ten too the game coming up next week might be more important than the penn state game

Ohio State wont move up until they can score an offensive touchdown..None against Purdue, and didnt look convincing against Wisconsin(who is not very good). OSU has to win the next two games to even break in the top 10 IMO, unless something drastic happens.

The way OSU is playing this season, they are lucky to be in the top 12 of any poll.
They are not a top ten team right now, and fans should not feel they are entitled to a top ten ranking at 6-1.
The team is laden with seniors and multi year starters, yet they can't score an offensive touchdown against the worst
defense in the big 10.
When the Buckeyes play like a top 10 team, they will be a top 10 team. Until then it is a blessing and a statement to what respect they have left with the national media that they are even in the top 15 with the way they've played all year.

If the Bucks go into East Lansing and beat Michigan St convincingly and then can beat Penn St they would then, most deffinately, be a top 10 team. Then all they would have to do is finish off the Big Ten undefeated and be in the Rose Bowl. I HIGHLY doubt, no matter how good Ohio St plays, we still won't see them in the BCS title game. Just not gonna happen this season.

Well, guy on Scout is betting $10,000 that no 2-loss team would get in the national title game over a 1-loss OSU team. If you truly believe one will, go place the bet. That's a lot of money to make.

It just makes me sick to see USC so high. They lose to an unranked team and fall a few spots only to make it back to the top 5 in 2 weeks. They always play well late in the season so the pollsters keep them close enough to make a push as long as they don't lose again late.
