According to WBNS.Com out of Columbus Ray has been suspended for 2 game after violating team rules, According to the article , Rays Father said he will either turn pro after this year or transfer, because OSU is trying to ruin his sons carrer.

OSU WRs turn out great in the NFL he should stay another year. He transfers he will ruin his career.

As much as i dislike TUofOS it does not seem to me that you can blame them for "ruining his career. Looks like he is doing that on his own!

And this suprises you why? Didnt you know it is always the school or coaches fault and not the player? (sarcasm here) It would be refreshing for Ray to man up.

let him transfer...I am sure he would do good things at the D-II level in college....maybe him and the QB from LSU that transferd could play together.

No matter what if he leaves we are deep at WR losing him will not hurt.

losing him would only HELP TOSU , he is the biggest underachiever there could be, hes not a clutch player, he has two left hands and hes always muffling punts. I'd love to see him try and go pro, he wouldnt even get drafted and i would put money on it

I think he would go 7th round at the highest 6th round

He has done nothing that is horrible that he is aware of but has shown a pattern of behavior...

Missed classes, late to team meetings, missed team meetings, late to tutoring sessions while his tutor twiddles his thumbs, and apparently he fell asleep in a team meeting .....

I think it said suspended indefinitly now according to what I heard on ESPN.

"He came into a bar I was bartending at over a year ago wanting to "throw a party" for his son. Bottles of Patron, Grey Goose, everything top shelf. After a lot of it was planned and the price tag was VERY expensive, someone looked it up and discovered Ray wasn't even 21. Apparently his dad was POed that we wouldn't just overlook that fact."

i think small has a lot of potential, hopefully he gets back on the right track and can show it to everyone

go ahead, leave early, transfer, i dont care...GOOD RIDDANCE! when Small first game to OSU there was all this talk of how fast he was and what a great player he was going to be and he's done squat besides muff punts/kicks and drop passes. sounds to me like the kid has a terrible attitude and apparently not enough talent (more likely not enough work ethic) to back it up. but you cant really blame him, sounds to me like his dad is a turd as well so it must run in the fam. i'm with bigtimehitter on this one, i'd like to see Small try and get drafted. i think he AND his poppa would be in for a big disappointment.

I sure am glad Woody coached in his era. He would have hurt himself long ago trying to recruit these kids, keep them from self destructing, and somehow teach them something about team and committment. How do you decide on these border line kids, great ability with questionable character? How do you babysit them and their parents? How do you get enough kids with talent and stay out of the tabloids every year? You have to be a magician to pull that off.
