Hey, ballparent's lov'in every minute of it, no matter how you want to illustrate his "deceptive" speed. :12222  8) But the way things roll on this board I'm sure there's a special someone who's right now sitting with their blue and gold etch-a-sketch drawing out their counter attack of his "deceptive" speed that they "know" is the real deal since they have connections with "insiders."

Ahhhh....nothing like this week. :)

His one step equals two steps for most people. Funny, how a 6-6 guy looks when he can run. Most guys that tall run like a turtle. Wonder if hes done growing?

There is a scout from Miami, Florida that thinks Pryor would be a NFL Hall of Fame TE if he would make the position change. He said his stats are freaky compared to even Kellen Winslow who was 6'4" 215 and running a 4.6 when he came to Miami.

His reasoning was "take all of the 6'5"+ guys at 230 lbs and who jumps the highest, runs the fastest, and is the most elusive as a 19 yr old?"

However, he thinks OSU is an automatic national title contender from now on as long as Pryor stays and is healthy.

Orestes,

Good post. You going to the game? If so, PM me and you can come over to our tailgate and have a cold drink or two. BTW, don't worry our tailgate is about 75% OSU fans.

Well, Pryor does lead the Big Ten in passing efficiency, as a true freshman who was not around for Spring Practice. What does that say about the other QBs and their passing ability?

Also, watch Pryor after some of his handoffs, he blocks quite often. I have noticed less in more recent games but I would assume he is being told to stop by the coaches.

When he made a tackle against Illinois he sure didn't seem fearful of contact. Oh and there were scouts who thought Pryor would have been the #1 DE in high school had he decided to focus on that position.

Keep piling on guys, but you know what you're going to be seeing from Pryor in the years to come, barring injury.

Winslow occasionally tries to block people... he just sucks at it.

It is weird to see someone who appears to be jogging blow by two or three defenders!

So, me thinking TP is a good player now who will be great later means that I love him? Are you 6?

"Oh yeah, well why don't you marry him?" That's weak, child.

As for your making reads comment....

That is BS. So you're telling me that Robiskie has not been the first read much at all? So, Dane Sanzenbacher is the #1 read for OSU? He's been catching most of the balls. Suddenly after Boeckman took a seat OSU has decided to make the TE the #1 option more frequently? The TEs have been catching a higher % of the balls than before. LOL.

If you mean TP has been judicious with the football and more careful than other QBs because of his legs, then yes, I agree with you. However, the guy has been going through his progressions. Look at how many times he has dumped the ball off to a RB after looking downfield first. Watch him when he runs. He is still looking downfield until their is no other choice but to run.

You are either parroting boy-band/surface analysis Herbstreit (on the job for the cute cheeks, highlighted hair, and orange fake bake tan) or you are simply basing your judgment entirely upon the "black scrambling QB" stereotype. What you posted is not true at all.

"Sometimes you think and sometimes you know.... I know this one.."

just sounds like you want to name the studium after him and put him in the hall of fame and he hasn't did anything yet. he still hasn't beat a good team.

So, only top 10 teams are good teams? Ok. He has had one shot as a true freshman. Otherwise, you need a lesson in arguing. Look up "Straw man argument" and you will see an example of your pathetic form of arguing. Though, I'm sure the Trimble internet will only last you until school lets out, so you better look it up soon.

Anyway, I'm through arguing with you. I need to follow this beautiful piece of advice:

Never argue with an idiot. They will just drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Pryor is not a "great" Qb by any means yet, but he is outstanding for a freshman. I have watched him make reads each week. Go back to the PSU game. I watched him hit the hot WR, because he saw the LB coming on a blitz. He is still not a grat passer, but he is getting much better.

I think OSU fans are excited because of the flashes he shows as both a passer and a runner. He is very deadly around the goal line. How do you stop him? He is a very big player at 6'4-5, and 230 pounds, and has enough speed to get the edge. He will take sacks because he is not a stop on a dime type of athlete (difference between himself and say Mike Vick), but if he gets going it is much harder to catch him.

He is still not a Vick or Young, but he is the closest thing we have seen.

he is getting better butt still has a long way to go to become a QB. He is not even close to Troy Smith, maybe someday he can go to the NFL and backup a player from delaware.
