If texas tech wins out i think you have to give it to one of them. Now I know this guys may not get the heisman but i think you take him away from that team they are an avg team and thats.............................Ol Nate Davis QB of Ball St. be kinda nice to see a local go to NY at least.

Here's some stats on Davis for this year

Passing Comp/Att 189/277 thats a 68.2%
Passing Yards 2647 Thats an avg of 9.6 yrds
TD/Int 20/6

Thats a rating of 168.00 (for those that care about QB rating, i dont care cause i dont understand how it works)

Now compare to the other Top QBs
Harrell Comp/Att 332/463 thats a 71.2% QB rating is 169.18
McCoys Comp/Att 268/347 thats a 77.2% QB rating is 177.60
Bradford Copm/Att 224/330 thats a 67.9% QB rating is 188.94

What my point is that the other three QBs avg 380 passes thats 103 more than our boy Davis. So hes pretty much right on the line as the other couple guys with his stats.

When was the last time a player from the MAC went to NY? Was it Marshall's Byron Leftwich?

Leftwich didn't go. Pennington did though, as did Moss.

Percy Harvin needs to be there. IMO, he is the best cfb player in the country.

It will be one of the B12 QB's.

Harvin will go there but im afraid to say that he is the second best player on the florida offense and the third best overall. Numero uno on Florida would be tim tebow because without him, no one would be there to throw or hand the ball off to harvin. Number 2 would be linebacker Brandon Spikes. Plain and simple, this kids a beast. And without him all of the touchdowns that harvin and tebow score wouldnt matter because they would lose more games because of a lack of defense without spikes. Ala South Carolinas score of 6 points.
It will go to Harrel no question. But it should go to the entire Texas Tech offensive line. They give graham an average of 7 seconds to throw the ball. Now that may not seem like a lot but when u have todays wide recievers who are so quick, thats enough time to beat your man for 70 yards or more. Also, TTU is averaging over 130 yards rushing per game. Thats a lot for a team whos play balance is 90 pass 10 run.

thanks for the info peake. i knew at the start of Leftwichs Sr. he was in the talk of the heisman, but had the ankle injury and had to miss some weeks. So i didn't know if he made the trip.

I think T.P. will get this yr. He's got speed and can somewhat pass. If Coach Tressell and the offensive coordinator can work with him on the passing part and he stays in college his next four years he'll get it every year until he graduates.

The way Beanie has run when he is healthy makes you think he would have been right on top if he hadnt missed three games.

Major blow for Beanie to miss those games. Otherwise, I think he would have been the favorite to win the Heisman. Terelle Pryor has a decent shot at winning the Heisman, but I don't think he will end up winning it. There's a lot of veterans that have a better shot, IMO.

After Beanie runs for more than 300 yards tomorrow they will be talking about him, I dont think TP even gets invited to NY.

The only way for Beanie or TP to get to New York is for one of the big 12 quarterbacks or tebow to die in the next couple of days. other than that they wont even go to new york. so sorry for all u buckeye fans out there.

Is anyone actually serious about TP???? The kid completed what 5 passes vs. UM?!?! That won't get you to NY. Beanie could have been there, but injurey wil lget you every time.

So Spikes is better than Harvin? Yea, I'll have some of what you are smoking. Harvin is a touchdown machine. He is a hybrid player that is pretty much in a Reggie Bush mold, but a much better wideout. Harvin is the #1 player on Florida's team. ASk Michigan last year who they couldn't contain.

Winner is either McCoy or Bradford.

Everyone knows im a Buckeye fan, BUT PRYOR GETTIN THE HEISMAN OR EVEN BEIN INVITED FOR THAT MATTER IS RIDICULOUS!! I will say though that next year i honestly think he will be a contender, and his junior year he will be the frontrunner. BARRING INJURY that is
