Louisville is coached by a choker named Pitino. All i ever hear is that Smith won it all with pitino's team. That is such bullcrap. It was Pitino's team alright. Smith won it all with them and Pitino choked with them the year before. heck Smith didnt even have 2 of the stud's from the year before. What a friggin joke.

Thanks for proving my point. Smith, a better coach, won with Pitino's players. Pitino, a year before with this same squad PLUS Derek Anderson and Antoine Walker, DID NOT win a championship.
So again Tubby Smith proven to be a better coach than Pitino. Maybe Smith isnt as good in the living room, but overwhelmingly has proven over the years to be a better coach than Pitino. Heck, Pitino couldnt even win with the Celtics!

"Nobody could win with the Celtics"...uh there were many banners hanging in the garden before KG.....and none belonged to Pitino, who singlehandily set the organization back decades. Remember in the NBA everyone has talent. You have to coach in that league.

So again, with you last post, you proved two things...Pitino could not win with more talent than Smith, and that Smith won with Pitino's players....something Pitino could not do.

If Tubby would have just been.....Italian.

Bottom line is that Tubby has won as many titles as Pitino. He won with Pitino's kids, something Pitino could not do.

Wasnt he also the GM of the Celtics? Mercy me.

But i have been a kentucky fan for as long as i can remember in coll. basketball and really hope stuff gets turned around i was a big tubby fan and think it sucks he's gone and hope billie don't screw around to long.. Give the ball to patterson and let him work..
