Ball State- do they deserve a shot in the BCS??

Finishing 12-0, as long as they take care of business against Buffalo in the MAC Championship game, do they deserve a slot in a BSC game?
Who gets in if it comes down to them and Ohio State? I feel Ball State would be lucky to score 14 points against the Bucks, and probably would not win more than 1 game out of a 10 game series against the Buckeyes.
What does everyone think?

If Utah gets in, so should Ball State. However, i dont think either one should get in. I also dont believe Cincy should get an auto bid. I dont like the automatic bids.

I agree with Earp. Ball State has played nobody. Utah beat BYU and TCU.

garbage, i don't agree. can they play with the nation's elite teams. i think boise state and utah have proved that. ball state probably not. but dang, they are fun to watch. and i definately think cincinnati should be there. but until there is a playoff, nobody will ever know.

Yes if you go udefeated then u should go to a bcs bowl but they need to figure out how work the system for smaller schools

I dont see Boise or Ball St. in a BCS bowl, Utah will get the bid, would like to see Ball St. vs Boise in a bowl game that would be a fun game to watch. Did anyone watch Ball St. last night looked very good as a team IMO.

Yes they do. If Alambama gets beat by Florida it should be Utah and Ball St. for the title. I thought in sports you get rewarded for going undefeated, but apparently not in college football. In College football you get rewarded for your name and the conference you play in. Anyway yes Ball St. deserves a BCS bowl.

Ball St should be matched up with Boise St or Utah in a bowl game. Possibly an ACC or Big East team.

no they play in the MAC kind of like ECU looked like they could have done something but they lost and they showed CUSA cant keep consientsy

Boise State deserves it before Ball State. They have shown in the past that they can play, at least for 1 game, on the national stage when they defeated Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl a couple of years ago in one of the greatest college football games played to date.
