Ohio Bobcat Basketball tickets $1 this Wednesday vs. Tulsa!

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to throw out a reminder that Ohio takes on Tulsa this Wednesday at the Convocation center. All tickets in all sections are just $1. No catch, no extra donations, just 1 dollar bill - 4 quarters - 10 dimes - 20 nickels or 100 pennies.

It's a great chance to come see the new team and new version of Ohio Basketball that new Head Coach John Groce has brought to Athens. I really think you'll like the way these guys play. Its tough and scrappy, but disciplined at the same time.

Tulsa is also a great opponent to watch. They recently dismantled Texas A&M and hung tough against a good Illinois squad. Even if you're not a Bobcat fan, its a great chance to watch a great early season college basketball game at a great venue.

Tip off is 7PM, and Parking is free.

Don't forget, tonight: Ohio vs. Tulsa in the Convo. All tickets are just $1 and parking is Free!

This could be a chance to see two solid Mid-Major teams battle it out early in the season. Both of these teams have a good shot to make it to the NCAA Tournament this year, and it should be a fun time for everyone.

Tonight is also the 40th anniversary of the Convo, and Ohio Athletics will be accepting new toy donations to give to Athens County Children Services in honor of the Convo's 40th Birthday. Just to clarify, you do not have to donate to get the $1 ticket, but locations will be set up if you would like to.

I was there and it was a good game from start to finish. The 7' guy from Tulsa wasn't very agile but aparently nba scouts think he is, he mishandled the ball many times, but when he got near the rim he finished with authority. Good win by the Bobcats. By the way, I sit front row in the student section!! LOL When they let regular admission move down there!!
