Most central ohio travel agencies are reporting very low sales of
bowl packages.

It's on Jan 5th, which is a monday, so people will have to take 3 days off work for the game.
Combine that with this is our 5th trip in 7 years to Tempe/Glendale.
Then combine that with our lack of success in the last two seasons, and our opponet
should be playing for the title.
Then combine that with bad economic situations.

The Buckeyes will sell the 17,500 tickets they are expected to by the Fiesta Bowl commitee,
but the majority will be to the 40,000+ alumni that live within 5 hours of Pheonix.

For the 2006 trip to Arizona Buckeye fans out of Columbus completely filled 9 different jumbo
jet flights to Pheonix, this year agencies hope to be able to fill 2.

Yep! I am headed out with 2 friends leaving January 3rd returning on the 6th.

I bought a flight+hotel combo on priceline for 3 nights and got my roundtrip air and 3 nights at the Glendale Ramada for $650. MUCH cheaper than in past years!!!!
