Re: big ten
The only one I picked was Iowa over South Carolina,
but I'm not very confident in that one.

Re: big ten
I don't think the Big10 will win very many, but the spreads from Vegas reflect national perception and the national perception reflects expectations.
That being said, Northwestern should have silenced some critics. Missouri was a great win for Texas and Oklahoma. They were supposed to be so much "faster" than Northwestern. Northwestern showed that outside of Maclin (who is a freak) they were just as fast and athletic as Missouri.
The Big Ten is down, but this has been exaggerated. The difference is not great and it is something that can be fixed in a year or two. It is not a mountain to climb.
Also, the Big Ten's slate is a difficult one. They play Missouri, Kansas, South Carolina, FSU, Georgia, USC, and Texas. It's too bad the Big Ten does not get to play WAC teams such as the ACC or MAC teams like the Big East.
Plus, considering the Big Ten is down, they are not in a good position to deal with two teams being in the BCS. Consider if OSU had not made the BCS....
USC v. PSU
UGA v. OSU
SC v. MSU
Mizzou v. Iowa
Kansas v. Minn (stays the same IMO)
FSU v. Northwestern
? v. Wisconsin
Finally, I do not care much as a fan of OSU. Miami used to dominate the Big East. USC dominates the Pac10. All OSU has to do is start beating teams like Texas and USC and it won't matter what the rest of the Big Ten does during the year. Luckily, since OSU schedules a non-conference big boy each year, they will get at least one yearly shot.

Iowa beat So. Carolina like a red headed step child...........thats one, and MSU is up on Georgia............

Re: big ten
I'm surprised MSU put up a fight against a now healthy and regrouped Georgia team. OSU and PSU just stomped the guts out of MSU.
Beanie Wells also ran on MSU like they were a pee wee team.

Re: big ten
SEC refs doing PSU/USC game.... ==== bad news for PSU.....
USC is probably the best team in the nation every year when playing in bowl games as it is... they don't need help. What an underachieving program USC is, considering they lose to "meh" teams every season.

I'm not sure but I think they meant throughout the year, plus some guys who were either injured for the year early on or kicked off of the team.
However, at the end of the game, they mentioned that UGA got some key defenders back and looked good with them. I have no idea who they were talking about.
