surprised this isn't already a topic ...so far 8-3 with a great chance to go 9-3 (vs Miami OH) heading into the mac championship and a chance they might play ohio state in the little caesars bowl....ohio state would need to lose, purdue and northwestern win and a ohio win in the mac championship

Great season so far for OU. A match-up with OSU in Detroit would be good.

I wish they were on tv as much as the Buckeyes were.

MAC needs their own network.

the game tonight was really good ohio won 21-14 but it came down to about the last minute.

As an OU grad, I am proud to see the Bobcats do well on the gridiron.

If we win the MAC title and our Bowl Game, we would have great momentum going into next year, as a lot of our seniors have their successors already in place and getting PT. Beat Penn State and go undefeated next year (I know it's too early to talk like this, but since I'm a student and not a student athlete, I can say this stuff), we could be looking at an outside shot at the BCS.

What O and B said....and not surprised the Cats are ignored....funny to read Brady Hoke quotes on Rivals about the Michigan and Ohio (not Ohio State) rivalry and when you click on the Ohio it goes to an OU team site.

That whole 2nd half was unbelievable. They went away from everything they did the first half to get that 20-0 lead in the first place. Sit on it, sit on it, sit on it, after awhile you'd think he'd open it up a little but what can you say. Once NIU got some momentum from their passing game it was all over as the Bobcats were "clock watching" for about the last 18 minutes of the game.

and you wanted the buckeyes. ohio had a great year, and hope they do well in their bowl.

I really hated to see the Bobcats blow a 13 point lead with 8 minutes left in the game. It would have been nice to see OU win the MAC championship and have a chance to win a bowl game. Good teams make plays and win games and last night NI made the plays. Good luck to OU if you get a bowl bid...now.

We're going bowling. The MAC has 3 bowl tie ins and seeing as how we're MAC runners up, we'll get a bid. Our three tie ins are as follows:

Godaddy.com Bowl (Mobile, AL). They get first pick from the MAC, that'll be NIU.
Pizza Bowl (Detroit, MI). Second pick, they'll want Toledo because of the draw.
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (Boise, ID) That's our likely destination.

Who I feel for is Temple (even though I can't stand their arrogance, they are a solid team); back to back 8 win seasons and they are possibly on the outside looking in... again!
