OSU to sell tickets for $5
Tuesday, February 3, 2009 3:01 AM
Starting tonight, Ohio State will sell terrace-level seats in Value City Arena for $5 for its remaining home men's basketball games.
The decision to sell the seats, which number about 1,500 and normally sell for $16, is a response to declining attendance attributed to the recession. Ohio State has averaged 14,307 in attendance for its first 14 games. Capacity is more than 19,000.
"We want to do what we can to help pack the house for the remaining games," said Bill Jones, assistant athletic director for ticketing.
Tickets can be purchased at the Schottenstein Center ticket office or online through the OSU athletic department or Ticketmaster.

It's too bad that they have to reduce the price of tickets, but it's good that the Buckeyes got the W against Purdue!! Really good, quality win!!!
