Another look at Tate "force" Forcier. His own personal website.

Now please tell me how Michigan fans blow past this and still call Terrelle Pryor self-absorbed.

Jimmy Clausen II, ladies and gentlemen...

Personally, I'm just having fun at his expense. However, he does appear to be a first class d-bag, but I will cut him a break since he is still in HS.

Looks like a good class for RRs system.
Problem with highlight videos is, they
have no aura of context. You can never tell what
the level of competition is the highlights are coming against.

It is good to see good talent coming to UM. The Big ten needs them to be competitive and not the also ran they were in 2008.
Did you say one of the recruits was a d-bag? Geesh, ought to fit in well with the head coach.

I am not as big a Michigan fan as peake, but I do visit a board or two. If I read correctly, the Forceir family is very respected much like the Boren family. They say Tate is the showman of the group, but by all accounts he seems like a good kid. I read an article that asked Tate why he didn't participate in any All-Star games and he said he is too busy with academics and getting ready for the college. I know he is enrolled now at Michigan, so it seems as if he has a good head on his shoulders.

I did check out the competition for most of the players.

I know Vincent Smith and Brandon Hawthorne are from Pahokee "The Muck". They are back to back D2 State Champs in Florida, that says something to me. Smith waa the star of the state playoffs and over shadowed NuKeese.

Gallon is from Apopka in Florida, they are useually natioanlly ranked.

I have also been reading that Michigan is doing a nice job of starting pipelines at both schools. Lo Wood, one of the better DB's in the 2010 class, is rumored to all redy be a Michigan lean.

Will Campbell, Terric Jones, and Thomas Godon all play at Cass Tech, which is the biggest division in Michigan. This school is also becoming a pipeline for Michigan. Dior Mathis (2010 DB) is said to be a Michigan lean now rather then Miami, Fl. Boubacar Cissoko is also from Cass.

Cam Gordon plays at Inkster in Michigan. Teammate of Devin Gardner (top dual-threat in state).

JT Turner plays at Massilon a DI program in Ohio.

Taylor Lewan and Craig Roh both played in the state title game in Arizona in the top class.

Denard and Witty both play at Deerfield, a good program as well.

Of all the recruits I think Bell and Toussiant are the two that play at the weakest level. They play in Ohio in DII, but play in a weak league in Youngstown. Toussiant was the DII co-offensive PofY.

Lalota played at the Hun School, a prep school.

For the most part I think Michigan got plenty of talent and was able to get players that fit the system.

Michigan did pretty good this year got alot of speed on both sides of the line. I think that will be a BIG party right away. Last year that was one of the things that hurt us was the lack of depth on the line. I heard on ESPN radio today that they said Denard Robinson is like Pat White type of QB, and could be able to compete for the starting QB right away. But it is nice now that we have some depth at the QB spot now if ya dont count Justin F. we have 4 QBs on the team and thats Steven Threet, Nick Shardon (sp?), Tate Foricer, and Denard Robinson.

The only problem I have with Michigan's class is this....

1) The Michigan team is well below the talent level that OSU possesses. If not, their coaching is inept.

2) So, Michigan is playing "catch up" with OSU.

3) This class is not catching up with OSU. OSU's class is [i]seemingly[i] better from top to bottom.

And JT Turner has the potential to be a great player. The problem is that was known to be a "dog" and a "bad attitude" on his high school team. He faced multiple suspensions and people who saw him said he played with horrible body language on the field. However, that can always change, so the potential is there to be great.

As for Forcier, I don't care. I just find it funny that Pryor was and is bashed on the UM boards for being "me me me" and yet he doesn't have a website showing off himself. He also doesn't wear crooked trucker hats which is LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Dude hes still a high school kid, that was prob trying to get his name out there to get recurited by some top tier schools. At least he didnt drag out where he was going to play ball at like TP did. Just get over it. We will see in a couple years when all these players develop and see who had a better class in 09.

I have no problems with Tate Forcier and his website. He is actually very classy and recognizes a lot of people and thanks them for their support. He seems like a classy kid, and I listened to his HS Coach talk about him, and all he could say was Tate is a great kid.

UM is still behind OSU in terms of talent, but it is not RRod's fault at all. Lloyd decided it would be ok to recruit mid level players during his final 3 or 4 years. His top players were good, but the guys in between should not have been at UM (Mister Simpson, Corbani Mixon, etc.).

I really like UM's class. I feel like they need more depth at DT, and lost two they could have used, but all in all I like it. I see Bill Greene talk all the time about how UM is not getting the type of kid they used to, and he is correct. UM is not after the Anthoney Thomas's of the world any more. They want scat backs who can make you miss in space. The new UM uses the slot a lot more then the old UM who really never used one at all. I feel as though they are still getting the outside wideouts that they used to. You are not going to hear about kids like Ryan Mallett having interest in Michigan any more, but you will heart about the Devin Gardners.

I disagree with the top talent in UM's class not being as good as OSU's.

JT Turner is as good as any DB OSU was able to land. Will Campbell is a monster that is the ONLY player ever to play on the OL and DL in the Army All American Game. He also took Marcus Hall and put him on his back at the combines. UM passed on Duron Carter, and I feel like they got their money's worth in Stokes. I feel like OSU had a much better class on the OL, but I thought UM was able to get quality.

I will say this---OSU had 10 kids participate in All-American Games---UM had 9.

I agree with Peake. The UM talent is on par now. I guess the clock can finally start on Rodriguez now. :122249

I agree 85inside, RR should now at least get to 6-6 with Delaware St on this years schedule. But then again, The Blue Hens can be pretty good and I've seen years they could have put it to Appy St and Toledo. This is going to be a game to watch as both teams wear the winged helmets.

As far as the talent level from this years recruiting class, I hope they all play like 5 stars. The Big Ten needs Michigan to be in the thick of things again. 1907

The University of Delaware is the Blue Hens, Delaware State is a different team who is not as god traditionally. I don't see this one being much of a game.

It woud be cool if UM and Delaware played---almost indentical uni's.

I guess I was so excited to get to see the winged helmets clash I made a silly error. The Hornets aren't a bad team. They come to play so the Wolverines will not want to take them lightly either but your right, Michigan should handle them rather easily.

Speaking of the Blue Hens. I saw where they stole Penn State's backup QB away and now the Devlin kid is a Blue Hen.
