Ohio State Spring Game

I have had several PMs about the date of the Ohio State Spring Game. Well here is what I've got on the Spring Game..

We've got an official date: April 25, 2009 @ 1:00 ~ 1:30 pm. at the Shoe!

Usually the cost is around 5 dollars and seating is first come first serve. This is indeed a bargain for a family. One thing you will want to do and that is check the weather forecast ahead of time. I've seen 70,000 watch it on a beautiful day but I've also seen 50,000 watch it in the sleet,cold and rain.

2009 Spring Football Game

The 2009 Ohio State football Spring Game is currently scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2009 in Ohio Stadium. The Spring Football Game will follow the Ohio State men's lacrosse game vs. Notre Dame which will also be held in Ohio Stadium. The men's lacrosse game is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.

Date: Saturday, April 25
Gates Open: 10 a.m.
Lacrosse Game: 11 a.m.
Football Scrimmage: 1:30 p.m.
Ticket Price: $5

You can either order the tickets ahead, have them mailed to you or pick them up at Will Call at the Schott or simply buy them up there, especially if the weather is a factor in your attending. As mentioned before seating is first come, first serve and the place doesn't fill up, but there is a Men's Lacrosse game at 11 a.m. against Notre Dame and the front seats will go to those that get there early and watch it too. The $5.00 ticket is for both the Lacrosse game and the Spring Game.

The temp is supposed to be in the 80's Saturday.
They are allowing students to enter for free, and are inviting them
to turn the south stands (open end) into a beach party type atmosphere.

Should be pretty crazy, and with great weather and a student activity,
may push the 100,000 person mark.

Is anybody making the trip up here for the Spring Game?
I just found out that I will be in town that day,

I'll be attending the game, will likely get there early and catch the lacrosse game,
just to get good seats.

Does anybody know if they sign autographs before or after the game??

I'm going up Saturday and we are leaving early. It not only gets you a good seat but also a good parking spot.

Tiger-Brother your best shot at an autograph might be gate 32 before and after the game. They have a picnic for the team and their families after the game so they will probably be going to the Woody for that. Find Bobby or Mary Williams and they may be able to take care of you.
