Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Gotta have more than defense and running between the tackles. This could possibly be not only the most balanced Wisky team ever, possibly the best. It will be an uphill battle but OSU has 2 weeks to prepare.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
It will take our best game of the year to beat the Badgers, but that's very possible.......the OSU defense has played only 1 bad half in 3 Big Ten games, but the offense has been sporadic........if the O can score 24-27 points, I think an OSU win is possible.
Buckeyes also remember last year when Wisconsin knocked them from the #1 spot in the polls.
Night game at the Horseshoe.........should be super loud!!

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
IF this game wasnt in the shoe...I would say Wisconsin by at least 3TD's....but the crowd and the weather could have a lot to do with the outcome of this game!!! Still if Wisconsin continues to play like they have been....they will roll!!! WIS 41 OSU 20

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Wisconsin is good, like real good. They just seem to do everything right. OSU will have to play full throttle pretty much all the time if they wanna win. I know that the Bucks will come in angry because of last years loss, but I really don't know if we can get the job done.
Undoubtedly, I will be rootin' for the Buckeyes, but I'm not so optimistic that we'll win.
I'd love to see Wisconsin win a National Title this year, I think they have the talent to do it, and makes the Big 10 look better than it has recently. I root for every Big 10 school in every other game with the exception of the program north of Ohio. I believe that they will at least win the Big 10 Championship.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
From what I have seen thus far this season I believe that Wisconsin is as good as any team in the country. Russell Wilson is the 2nd best QB in College Football only behind Andrew Luck, they have a balanced rushing attack with Montee Ball and James White, and Nick Toon is one of the best recievers not only in the history of Wisconsin but in the history of the Big Ten. They also have a solid defense that will slow down the run.
As much as I want Ohio State to win this game, I just don't see it happening. Our offense has been awful, and I don't see them getting it corrected in two weeks versus a good defense. Last year the Bucks should have won this game, but a slow start propelled the Badgers to a victory. Both teams are totally different this year: Wisconsin much better, Ohio State much worse.
Wisconsin 42
Ohio State 17

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Wisconsin has a great Oline, that's what makes them dangerous.
Russel Wilson is not as good as everyone hypes, but he gets to play behind great protection.
I respect what they have put together, but they have yet to play a true road game in a hostile stadium, and they have not played against a team with a good defense.
They are good, but not great YET!
I'll reserve judgement until after at least this week after they travel to MSU and face a team with a real good front 7 and a couple corners that can man up on any WR and let the safeties support the run.

Agree Dubs, night game in the SHOE.Wilsonl has never experienced a situation quite like that.Bucks have shown just enough to tease you.I think it will be VERY interesting.Rooting like hell for MSU this weekend.
Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Wisky is not as athletic as LSU or Bama, but are solid all around.
Bye week for the Bucks will help them get ready and the night game
atmosphere will help the OSU pysche. That said TOSU's only chance
will be for Wisky to self destruct. Wisky will grind out a 31-10 win
pulling away in the second half.

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
Wisconsin has played really really weak teams so far, tough to gauge how good they really are,,Nebraska was the best ,but their defense is 59th in total defense,,, weak! If they can put up points like that against Sparty this weekend we are in huge trouble,,,Go Sparty!! Get it done mean green!!!

Re: OSU vs Wisconsin
You guys can't be serious. Wisconsin will take this game with no problem. Their offense with Wilson this year is more than enough to win the Big-10 going away. OSU has shown no signs of being able to throw the ball at all and this isn't 1957, the defense can't carry you the whole game when you play a GOOD team and Michigan State, Michigan, Illinois and Penn State are all overrated this year. The Big-10 is way down other than Wisconsin. IMO, Badgers by 24.

Show me why, given their light schedule, I should buy into Wisconsin's anointed greatness!

No one is anointing anyone. The Big 10 is terrible, Penn State and OSU can't score and have no passing at all but have great defenses, Michigan still has a suspect defense with little offense when they play a good defensive team, Michigan State is not explosive at all and with their plodding play on both sides of the ball it will put you to sleep (hope OSU doesn't go for Dantonio, boy that would be a mistake) and Illinois plays pitch and catch with A.J. Jenkins and that's all the offense they have with an average defense. Put the other six (Purdue, Indiana, Northwestern, Iowa and Minnesota together and you might be able to form one great team from that bunch) together and you have a very bad conference in 2011. Wisconsin has been helped tremendously by the Wilson kid at qb who came from NC State after he graduated and had one year of eligibility left so he's taking advantage of it on the national stage at Wisconsin where he knew he could be the starting qb for a year and have a decent team behind him that could contend for a conference title. The whole Big-10 would be the laughing stock this year if this kid hadn't come along so they outta thank their lucky stars that at least one team can carry the flag.
