I hope he calls Coach Tressel and ends up in Columbus.Love to see him wearing scarlet and gray again.Coach Snyder is a class act.Some day he will be a head coach again.

i found mark snyder on wikipedia "Mark Snyder (born December 30, 1964) is the former head coach of the Marshall University Thundering Herd football team in Huntington, West Virginia. Snyder was the 28th head coach for the football squad after a notable tenure with Ohio State University. He is currently in negotiations to be Central Michigans next head coach.

He is not going to C.Michigan. He is going to be an asst at ECU. He is there NOW, volunteering to help with bowl game prep. He will be a position coach at ECU.

This pretty much sums it all up from that site

"Snyder was only DC at Ohio State for one year, 2004. He was not the DC when they won the NC, he was the LB coach.

The one year he was DC Marshall went in to the shoe and dominated his defense. Earl Charles and Ahmad Bradshaw ran all over them. We outrushed them 3 to 1 and controlled the clock. A couple of special team plays cost us the game on a last second 51 yard FG.

Ohio State was 8-4 in 2004 and it was the only time in the last 8 years they didn't win at least 10 games. OSU has givenup an average of around 175 points a season in the Tressel era. The year Snyder was DC they gave up 219 and it wasn't lack of players because they had 9 guys off that D go to the NFL. I honestly think Tressel pushed so hard to get Snyder hired at Marshall because he didn't want to have to fire him from the DC position.

With all that said, he is a good position coach and recruiter, just don't put him in any type of leadership position"
