I was watching Sportscenter this morning and they were showing the buzzer beater in the Pitt-Providence game. For those who missed it Prov was up 71-70 and Pitt hit the buzzer beater to win 73-71. Well, one of the anchors questioned why Providence didn't foul. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Up one with that little time left your gonna foul, does this guy even know anything about sports?

I'm getting tired of the anchors giving their opinions on whats happening instead of talking about the game itself. The comment above was not as bad as when Josh Elliot said that Majic Johnson had competition from John Wall for greatest college point guard of all time. Also when one of them complained the whole Cavs highlight about switching camera angles during the game instead of the game itself.

Sportscenter has been going downhill for me lately.

It depends on how many fouls they had to give. If Providence had lets say 2 fouls and I do not know how much time there was left but fouling would have taken a good 4-5 seconds depending on where they caught the ball. Fouling could have been a good option but I did not see the game.

Gibbs would have drained the FT'S anyway.And yes,the ball would have been in his hands.It always is when the game is on the line.He's a 90 some percent FT shooter. Providence did what they could to stop us, but they died on the buzzer beating three by Gibbs.Hail To Pitt!

And yes,for the most part all announcers at espn are idiotic or biased toward one team more than the other
