I'm taking Michigan State on experience. I think Izzo will get his team to the Title game.

Couldn't agree more. Going with Michigan State in this one.

They are the prototypical Izzo coached team, finding ways to win. And the motto of the NCAA tournaments is SURVIVE and advance.

Re: Michigan State vs Butler
I like a prettier more classic -old school --approach to the game -- I hate today's big east -big ten wrestlin' matches. beat and bang , beat and bang . The big east tourney was so poorly officiated I could barely watch it. And i did'nt have a team in it I was rooting for or against. It's just ugly. MD

Re: Michigan State vs Butler
the book has Butler an early 1- 1/2 point favorite with the over/under at 125............
Re: Michigan State vs Butler
My head says MSU, my heart says Butler.
I think there is 1 more game of Hoosier MoJo out there in the moonlight for the Bulldogs.
Butler by 2. (Even though I'll take MSU and the points with the over. Always cover your arse.)

Re: Michigan State vs Butler
Isn't this game just a little geographically reminiscent of the Michigan State vs Indiana State final four "Bird and Magic" show back when?
I don't remember the year or even who won [Mich St ?], but I do have some recollection of watching that first meeting between those 2 superstars from 2 smaller schools not that far apart geographically in the NCAA tournament who subsequently went on to make the "Bird and Magic Show" kind of a staple for many years to come at the pro level.

the Bird-Magic matchup was in 1979.........
Re: Michigan State vs Butler
Both teams started off shooting pretty well, but they have gone cold from the field.
Re: Michigan State vs Butler
1:53 l3ft in the first half.
MSU - 28
Mutler - 25
This type of game favors MSU. They have won the last four games by a combined 14 points.
