Nebraska has zeroed in on Matt Rhule as the Cornhuskers' next head coach and the two sides are working on finalizing a deal in the coming days, sources told ESPN on Friday.

Potentially a good hire to strengthen Cornhusker football and the Big 10 West in general. Rhule had success at Baylor, the NFL not so much.

With week 13 at hand in college football, the coaching carousel is about to start in earnest.

He has signed an 8 year contract to be the next Cornhuskers HC.

Signing came about an hour ago per numerous reports. Also...Auburn has reportedly moved away from Lane Kiffin and set its sights on Hugh Freeze, currently HC at Liberty.
