NEW MEXICO STATE SUSPENDS ITS MEN'S BASKETBALL PROGRAM

NMSU has suspended the operation of its men's basketball program. . Head coach Greg Heiar and his staff were placed on administrative leave for unspecified violations of university policy. The actions were said not to be related to an Aggie player being involved in a shooting last November.
