Notable team not making it is UNC.

With Marshall and Ohio State out, really not much local interest.

Should be a very interesting Madness season. IMO...there is no team that sticks out above the rest. Houston has a two-headed monster but Sasser apparently pulled a groin vs Cincy. Bama seems to live by the 3 ball...(as does other teams). Kansas and Texas are the cream of the BIG12....while Purdue with Edey and their own 3 pt shooters can dominate at times.

Who can win six games??? Perhaps one of the aforementioned teams. Perhaps it will be someone else.

Bottom line...I will be tuned in starting Thursday at high noon....my time.

I'll throw UCLA in also...though I am not overly impressed. Gonzaga??? Again, who knows. Ya just gotta get hot for six games in a row. And a ya gotta have some luck also.

That Furman win was a wild one!! Still can't believe the UVa guy threw the ball like that. And that deep 3 from Pegues was a thing of beauty.


Princeton vs PAC-12....it happens again. In 1996, the Tigers scored on a back door layup with about 3 seconds left to beat #2 UCLA. This time....they went on a 9-0 run to win. Arizona just looked flabbergasted in the last two minutes.

I didn't fill out a bracket this year...good luck to those who did. I will say that Bama's road got easier with those two losses.

Princeton was a beast on the boards...forget the total but Mizzou was outrebounded by 10+ on the offensive side. So the Tigers get to the Sweet 16 for the first time in 43 appearances.

Arkansas was just a little better than rock chalk.


Also...Houston was down by 10 at the half vs Auburn..41-31. However...the Cougars opened up a fresh can in the second half. Auburn only scored 23 points while Houston put up a fifty burger

Might be the BEST game of the tournament!! Wildcats led by 5 at half...Spartans tied with under 20 secs left regulation. Wildcats took over again in OT. Only stat I saw that really hurt MSU was turnovers...they had 13 compared to only 5 for K St.

Just an up and down game. I don't believe either side had a double digit lead.
