The Buckeyes (2-1) played as poorly as they have all season during the first half leading by just six points. In the 2nd half, the Buckeyes outscored Merrimac 41-23 and would have been worse if the bench bunch could shoot the ball. Roddy Gayle Jr. (Niagara Falls, NY) paced the winners with 20 [points, 5 boards, and 3 assists. Jamison Battle (Robbinsdale, MN) hit just 4-2 shots totaling 13 points. He did have 4 boards and 1 assist. Zed Key (Bay Shore, NY) hit 3-8 shots off of the bench scoring 11 points to go with 12 boards.
