They need a defense--RR is doing fine with the offense

He will stay until after the bowl game and then a decision will be made.

If they fire him after a Bowl Game that puts the new recruits in a situation to rethink their decision. Even if they think it maybe Harbaugh. The last time it was going to be Les Miles a lot of people thought.

Do you mean to terminate their jobs or to put them into a Bon FIRE?

He will get another year, but will make some serious adjustments with the defensive coordinators.

It is not the DC that is the problem. RR gets people to run his defense that they do not know. Or is it a good fit for the Big 10. RR has told his DC that they will run it his way. As well as many of his prized recruits do not see this defense helping to get them to the NFL. So many have left.

Someone or something has to be the scapegoat. I honestly don't see him being let go after a 7 win season.

With Miami firing their coach if UM is going to make a change there maybe a lot more jobs open by the time Bowl Season is over.

If you remember RR was named head coach before the capital one bowl game. Carr already said that it would be his last game coaching for Michigan and they named RR coach like maybe a month before the game.IMO if you Are going to make a change you should do it before your bowl game for recruiting

It wont matter who runs the defense. They dont have the players on defense to get it done. They recruited good athletes on offense, but not defense. There is no quick fix to that problem as it would take at least a couple years before some new recruits would hit the field.

I think we a diff D coach they would just simplify things down, until that coach would get "his players".

Lets start a fund and send it to the Mich ad. We can pay for one more year of RR.

I say he gets the bowl game and from there who knows. I think if he gets to the bowl game and he wins, he stays, otherwise he's gone.

I thought if he kept the game close yesterday he would have secured his job, but things just got interesting.

The talking heads yesterday mentioned all the calls the AD has been fielding from alums and boosters and you know what they say about money....it talks and BS walks!

The AD gets those people mad and HE might be looking for a job himself.

I bet the general has done a lot of walking.

Maybe that's the point. The AD needs to be looked at. I mean, Michigan hasn't exactly lit it up in BB either. They used to be a force. Or maybe Michigan needs to re-assess what they want to be. They can't have the standards of a Stanford or Notre Dame and still expect to compete with the OSU's and SEC teams on a yearly basis.
