Newton was ruled inelgible Tuesday by the university, but was reinstateded by the NCAA Wednesday.
I think Cam newton is innocent, but his father Cecil is guilty as h...!
The NCAA has cleared Cam to play for now, and has charged his father for soliciting his son's athletic abilities.

He was suspended for bowl practice, a bowl game, and the first game of the next season. Also, he split time in the next game, which was critical. That was for $500 and had nothing to do with coaches or administration.

Clarett was suspended for a season because of a combination of lies and benefits from a guy he had known since childhood.

Good point. $180,000 to $200,000 and a suspension during a weekday and no missed games is pretty similar.

What's right is and what's wrong is wrong. There obviuosly was a violation committed by his father and yet they don't do a thing about it. The NCAA raped USC over violations recieving benefits by a amatuer player, granted they say newton didn't recieve any but still the attempt was there. The NCAA doesn't have to neccissarily trash auburns season but i think something should have been done even if it was just a 1 game suspension to atleast make a statement that this type of junk can't go on.

Obviously without Newton this Auburm team would have lost a few games this season. He is the heart and soul of this team and it's shown in the sec championship in the 1st half. He has been dominate

Auburn fans should enjoy it while they can. Cam will be a free agent come mid January and unless Auburn ups his salary to $250,000 plus, I'd bet he announces his decision to his talents to....the NFL lol
